| dc.description.abstract | Udang air tawar merupakan anggota filum Arthropoda, subfilumCrustacea. dan Ordo Decapoda. Di Indonesia, keberadaan udang air tawar didominasi oleh dua
famili utama, yaitu Palaemonidae dan Atyidae. Wilayah Cianjur dan Purwakarta, yang termasuk dalam sistem drainase purba Paparan Sunda, berpotensi memiliki komposisi spesies yang beragam. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis keanekaragaman spesies udang air tawar di daerah aliran sungai (DAS) sepanjangjalur Cianjur dan Purwakarta. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan metode purposive sampling pada enam titik sungai di sepanjang jalur tersebut untuk menganalisis keanekaragaman udang air tawar. Tahapan penelitian meliputi pengoleksiansampel, preparasi sampel, identifikasi morfologi, pengukuran telur dan pembuatansketsa. Sebanyak 40 individu berhasil diperoleh dan diidentifikasi menjadi tujuhspesies, yaitu M. pilimanus, M. cf. pilimanus 1, M. cf. pilimanus 2, M. empulipke, M. sintangense, M. cf .sintangense, dan M. lanchesteri. Karakter yangdiamati meliputi bentuk rostrum, jumlah gigi rostrum, dan bentuk pereiopod kedua. | |
| dc.description.abstract | Freshwater shrimps are members of the phylum Arthropoda, subphylumCrustacea, and order Decapoda. In Indonesia, the occurrence of freshwater shrimps
is dominated by two major families, namely Palaemonidae and Atyidae. The Cianjur and Purwakarta regions, which are part of the ancient Sunda Shelf drainage system, have the potential to support a diverse species composition. This study aimed toanalyze the species diversity of frteshwater shrimp in the watershade along the Cianjur and Purwakarta. This study was conducted using a purposive samplingmethod at six river sampling sites along the drainage system to identify the diversity of freshwater shrimps. The research stages included sample collection, sample preparation, morphological identification, egg measurement andmorphological illustration. A total of 40 individuals were successfully collectedand identified into seven species, namely Macrobrachium pilimanus, M. cf. pilimanus 1, M. cf. pilimanus 2, M. empulipke, M. sintangense, M. cf. sintangense, and M. lanchesteri. The morphological characters used for identification includedrostrum shape, the number of rostral teeth, and the morphological characteristics of the second pereiopod. | |
