      Evaluasi Penggunaan Pupuk Hayati terhadap Pertumbuhan dan Produksi Tanaman Lemon

      Abstract
      Lemon merupakan salah satu komoditas hortikultura yang memiliki permintaan cukup tinggi dikarenakan kesadaran masyarakat terhadap asupan vitamin C. Meskipun demikian, kemampuan produksi lemon dalam negeri masih belum dapat memenuhi kebutuhan nasional. Namun, hingga saat ini belum tersedia panduan yang teruji secara ilmiah tentang mengatur tahapan budidaya lemon. Untuk itu, penelitian ini bertujuan mengkaji efektivitas pengaplikasian pupuk hayati terhadap pertumbuhan dan produksi tanaman lemon lokal pada umur 3 tahun. Penelitian dilaksanakan di Kebun Percobaan PKHT Pasirkuda, Kota Bogor, Jawa Barat menggunakan RKLT dengan 8 ulangan. Perlakuan yang diuji meliputi dosis pupuk hayati 0, 10, 20, dan 30 ml dengan NPK dosis 150 g pada masing-masing perlakuan. Peubah yang diamati meliputi jumlah tunas baru, panjang tunas, diameter tunas, jumlah daun, waktu muncul bunga, jumlah bunga, jumlah bakal buah, rasio pembentukan bunga, hasil produksi, serta mutu buah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemberian pupuk hayati berpengaruh nyata pada sebagian besar parameter pertumbuhan tanaman lemon. Dosis 10 ml menghasilkan pertumbuhan panjang dan diameter tunas, serta pertambahan jumlah daun tertinggi. Sementara itu, tidak terdapat pengaruh pupuk hayati yang signifikan pada fase generatif. Pemberian pupuk hayati pada tanaman lemon berpotensi mengoptimalkan pertumbuhan tanaman, meskipun diperlukan penelitian lebih lanjut terhadap produksi dan mutu buah lemon.
       
      Lemons are a horticultural commodity with high demand due to public awareness regarding vitamin C intake. However, domestic lemon production capacity still falls short of meeting national needs. There are no scientifically validated guidelines for managing lemon cultivation stages. Therefore, this study aimed to evaluate the effectiveness of biofertilizer application on the growth and production of three-year-old local lemon trees. The research was conducted at the PKHT Pasirkuda Experimental Garden in Bogor City, West Java, using an RCBD with eight replications. The treatments tested involved biofertilizer dosages of 0, 10, 20, and 30 grams, combined with 150 grams of NPK fertilizer for each treatment. Observed variables included the number of new shoots, shoot length, shoot diameter, number of leaves, time of flower emergence, number of flowers, number of fruitlets, flower formation ratio, yield, and fruit quality. The results indicated that biofertilizer application significantly affected most lemon plant growth parameters. A dosage of 10 ml yielded the highest results for shoot length, shoot diameter, and the increase in the number of leaves. Meanwhile, there was no significant effect of biofertilizer during generative phase. Applying biofertilizer to lemon trees has the potential to optimize plant growth, although further research is required regarding lemon fruit production and quality.
