| dc.description.abstract | Obesitas berkaitan dengan akumulasi lemak berlebih dan peningkatan stres oksidatif. Penghambatan enzim lipase pankreas menjadi salah satu strategi untuk mengurangi penyerapan lemak dalam tubuh. Penelitian ini bertujuan menentukan kombinasi terbaik ekstrak kayu secang (Caesalpinia sappan) dan daun belimbing wuluh (Averrhoa bilimbi L.) berdasarkan kadar fenolik total, flavonoid total, kapasitas antioksidan, dan aktivitas inhibisi lipase pankreas secara in vitro. Ekstraksi dilakukan menggunakan metode sonikasi dengan etanol 70% (v/v) dan dianalisis menggunakan metode Folin-Ciocalteu, AlCl3, DPPH, FRAP, dan uji inhibisi lipase pankreas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan kadar fenolik total, flavonoid total, kapasitas antioksidan FRAP, dan aktivitas inhibisi lipase pankreas kayu secang lebih tinggi dibandingkan seluruh kombinasi sampel, yaitu berturutturut sebesar 176,49 mg GAE/g ekstrak, 99,34 mg QE/g ekstrak, 248,06 mg TE/g ekstrak, dan 82,78%. Kombinasi (3:1) menunjukkan aktivitas inhibisi lipase pankreas tertinggi (59,39%) dan nilai antioksidan tertinggi (80,231 mg TE/g ekstrak dan 234,970 mg TE/g ekstrak) sehingga menjadi kombinasi terbaik yang diuji. | |
| dc.description.abstract | Obesity is associated with excessive fat accumulation and increased oxidative stress. Inhibition of pancreatic lipase is a promising strategy to reduce dietary fat absorption. This study aimed to determine the optimum combination of sappan wood (Caesalpinia sappan) and bilimbi leaf (Averrhoa bilimbi L.) extracts based on total phenolic content, total flavonoid content, antioxidant capacity, and pancreatic lipase inhibitory activity in vitro. Extraction was performed using ultrasonic-assisted extraction with 70% ethanol (v/v), followed by analyses using Folin-Ciocalteu, AlCl3, DPPH, FRAP, and pancreatic lipase inhibition assays. The results demonstrated that sappan wood extract exhibited higher total phenolic content, total flavonoid content, FRAP antioxidant capacity, and pancreatic lipase inhibitory activity than all extract combinations, with values of 176.49 mg GAE/g extract, 99.34 mg QE/g extract, 248.07 mg TE/g extract, and 82.78%, respectively. The 3:1 combination exhibited the highest pancreatic lipase inhibitory activity (59.39%) and the highest antioxidant values (80,231 mg TE/g extract and 234,970 mg TE/g extract), making it the best-performing combination among those tested. | |
