Menstrual cycle data were collected using a questionnaire on menstrual cycle disorders. The menstrual cycle is the time interval between the first day of one menstrual period and the onset of the next. An irregular menstrual cycle can cause reproductive disorders in women, which may increase the risk of difficulty conceiving (infertility) and uterine cancer. This study aimed to analyze the relationship between nutritional status, body image, and the frequency of fast-food consumption with the menstrual cycle among female students at the PPKU IPB. The results showed that the majority of the subjects were in the early adulthood age group (19–20 years) at 56.6%, and most had a history of early menarche (<12 years) at 54.7%. The majority of the subjects had a normal nutritional status (58.5%), followed by the underweight group (15.1%), the obese group (15.1%), and the overweight group (11.3%). Meanwhile, the distribution of the subjects’ menstrual cycles showed that 54.3% had normal menstrual cycles, while 45.7% had abnormal menstrual cycles. No significant association was found between any of the test components and the menstrual cycles of the female students at the IPB PPKU. The results of the bivariate statistical analysis showed a P-value>0.05 for all test components, namely the nutritional status variable (P-value=0.68), body image (P-value=0.94), and frequency of fast food consumption (P-value=0.32).
