Analisis Kinerja Ekonomi Sirkular dan Kelayakan Usaha Pertanian Terintegrasi di Jimmy Hantu Foundation
Abstract
Agricultural waste such as rice bran, rice husks, and livestock manure is still often viewed as low-value residue, even though they have the potential to become productive resources through the application of the circular economy. This study analyzes the circular economic performance as well as the financial and economic feasibility of the Jimmy Hantu Foundation’s (JHF) integrated agricultural business, which links rice milling, rice cultivation, horticulture, and chicken farming through the utilization of rice bran, rice husks, and chicken manure. JHF’s circular economy performance scored 7.0 (good performance and commitment), with the highest score in the “actions and initiatives” indicator (10.0), while “funding and incentives” (–1.0) still need improvement. This venture is financially viable with an NPV of Rp567,608,738; a Net B/C of 1.80; a Gross B/C of 1.04; and an IRR of 26%, as well as economically viable with an NPV of Rp827,667,449; a Net B/C of 2.11; a Gross B/C of 1.06; and an IRR of 18%. The fact that the economic NPV exceeds the financial NPV indicates additional benefits from resource efficiency and input savings.
