      Abstract

The World Meteorological Organization reported that the global average temperature continues to rise, reaching 1.4°C, as a result of increasing carbon emissions. Asia is the region with the highest carbon emitter in the world in 2021, 58 percent of total global emissions originated from the Asian region. Human capital and renewable energy capable to reducing carbon emissions and fostering sustainable development. This study aims to analyze the pattern and influence of human capital, renewable energy, and GDP per capita on carbon emissions in 14 Asian economies over the 2010–2021 period, employing descriptive analysis, Klassen typology, and panel data regression The findings indicate that human capital capacity increases emissions in the early stages, with the reducing effect only becoming apparent after a certain threshold is reached. Renewable energy use is found to significantly reduce carbon emissions, while GDP per capita has a positive effect on emissions.
