      Klasifikasi Habitat Perairan Laut Dangkal Berbasis OBIA dengan Algoritma Random Forest Menggunakan Citra Sentinel-2 di Sisi Timur Teluk Cempi, Nusa Tenggara Barat

      Abstract
      Teluk Cempi, yang terletak di kawasan Coral Triangle Indonesia, memiliki habitat bentik perairan dangkal yang kompleks. Metode klasifikasi berbasis piksel sering kali gagal dalam menentukan batas-batas komunitas objek, dan pemetaan habitat menggunakan citra Sentinel-2 belum pernah dilakukan sebelumnya di wilayah ini. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini menerapkan metode Object Based Image Analysis (OBIA) pada citra Sentinel-2 perekaman 7 Juni 2026 untuk memetakan habitat bentik di sisi Timur Teluk Cempi. Citra dikoreksi menggunakan Depth Invariant Index (DII), kemudian disegmentasi dan diklasifikasikan secara bertingkat menggunakan Random Forest (RF) berdasarkan 238 titik lapang. Hasil klasifikasi habitat perairan laut dangkal memetakan area seluas 982,21 ha, yang didominasi kelas Karang (296,56 ha) dan DCA & Rock (263,28 ha), diikuti Alga Merah, Rubble, Lamun, dan Pasir. Uji akurasi menghasilkan overall accuracy sebesar 83,09% dan koefisien Kappa 0,80, yang menunjukkan tingkat kesesuaian yang sangat baik.
       
      Cempi Bay, situated within Indonesia's Coral Triangle, contains complex shallow-water benthic habitats. Pixel-based classification methods often fail to delineate object community boundaries, and habitat mapping using Sentinel-2 imagery has not previously been conducted in this region. Therefore, this study applied the Object Based Image Analysis (OBIA) method to Sentinel-2 imagery acquired on June 7, 2026, to map benthic habitats on the eastern side of Cempi Bay. The imagery was corrected using the Depth Invariant Index (DII), then segmented and classified using a hierarchical Random Forest (RF) approach based on 238 field data points. The shallow-water habitat classification mapped a total area of 982.21 ha, dominated by the Coral class (296.56 ha) and DCA & Rock (263.28 ha), followed by Red Algae, Rubble, Seagrass, and Sand. The accuracy assessment produced an overall accuracy of 83.09% and a Kappa coefficient of 0.80, indicating excellent agreement.
