dc.description.abstractPertumbuhan pra-sapih merupakan parameter penting yang menentukan produktivitas ternak domba pedaging. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis pengaruh tipe kelahiran (single, twins dan triplets) dan jenis kelamin terhadap bobot lahir (BL), bobot sapih terkoreksi 90 hari (BST90), dan average daily gain (ADG) pra-sapih, serta evaluasi penyapihan dan mortalitas domba F1 Dorper di Bagja Farm Kuningan. Penelitian dilaksanakan Januari–Maret 2026 menggunakan 113 ekor cempe (N = 113) dan dianalisis menggunakan ANOVA RAL dua faktor. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan tipe kelahiran dan jenis kelamin berpengaruh nyata (P < 0,05) terhadap pertumbuhan pra-sapih. Performa tertinggi dicapai kelompok kelahiran single dengan hasil bobot lahir (BL) 2,88 ? 0,8 kg, dengan bobot sapih terkoreksi 90 hari (BST90) 19,95 ? 2,05 kg dan ADG 189,6 ? 5,2 gr/hari pada jenis kelamin jantan yang diikuti twins, dan terendah pada triplets. Jenis kelamin jantan menghasilkan performa secara konsisten mengungguli betina di setiap tipe kelahirannya. Kelahiran triplets menghasilkan tingkat mortalitas tertinggi (16,67%).
dc.description.abstractPre-weaning growth is a critical parameter that determines the productivity of lamb. This study aimed to analyze the effects of birth type (single, twins, triplets) and sex on birth weight (BW), 90-day corrected weaning weight (CWW90), and average daily gain (ADG), as well as weaning practices and mortality in F1 Dorper lambs at Bagja Farm Kuningan. Conducted from January to March 2026 with 113 lambs (N = 113), data were analyzed using two-factor ANOVA. Birth type and sex significantly affected (P < 0,05) pre-weaning growth. The highest performance was achieved by the single-birth group, recording a birth weight (BW) of 2,88 ? 0,8 kg, 90-day corrected weaning weight (CWW90) of 19,95 ? 2,05 kg, and ADG of 189,6 ? 5,2 gr/day for the male lambs, followed by twins, while the lowest performance was observed in triplets. Male lambs consistently outperformed females across all birth types. Triplet births exhibited the highest mortality rate (16.67%).
