dc.description.abstractThis study aims to analyze the efficiency, effectiveness, and financial viability of using open and closed greenhouses and to determine the optimal system. The study was conducted from June to December 2025 using primary and secondary data. Data analysis included descriptive analysis, production efficiency, effectiveness using Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), financial viability, BreakEven Point (BEP), and switching value. The results show that enclosed greenhouses have a production efficiency of 99%, which is higher than that of open greenhouses at 87%. Enclosed greenhouses are also more effective in terms of product quality, ease of operation, pest and disease control, and lower sorting rates. Both systems are viable for cultivation; however, enclosed greenhouses demonstrate better financial performance and greater resilience to the risk of reduced production, with a switching value of 32,69%, compared to 19,75% for open greenhouses. Enclosed greenhouses are recommended as the optimal hydroponic cultivation system to be developed at PT Lembur Hejo Indonesia.
dc.description.abstractPenelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis efisiensi, efektivitas, dan kelayakan finansial penggunaan greenhouse terbuka dan greenhouse tertutup serta menentukan sistem yang optimal. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada Juni–Desember 2025 menggunakan data primer dan sekunder. Analisis data meliputi analisis deskriptif, efisiensi produksi, efektivitas menggunakan Key Performance Indicator (KPI), kelayakan finansial, Break Even Point (BEP), dan switching value. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa greenhouse tertutup memiliki efisiensi produksi 99%, lebih tinggi dibandingkan greenhouse terbuka 87%. Greenhouse tertutup juga lebih efektif berdasarkan kualitas produk, kemudahan operasional, pengendalian hama dan penyakit, serta rendahnya hasil sortir. Kedua sistem layak diusahakan, namun greenhouse tertutup memiliki kinerja finansial lebih baik dan lebih tahan terhadap risiko penurunan produksi dengan switching value 32,69%, sedangkan greenhouse terbuka 19,75%. Greenhouse tertutup direkomendasikan sebagai sistem budidaya hidroponik yang optimal dikembangkan di PT Lembur Hejo Indonesia.
