This study aimed to determine the effect of sophorolipid supplementation as a substitute for antibiotic growth promoter (AGP) on the performance of broiler chickens. The research was conducted from February to March 2025 at the experimental poultry house of the Vocational School, IPB University, Bogor, using 205 broiler DOC of Hybro strain reared for 28 days. The experiment used a completely randomized design (CRD) with four treatments and five replications. The treatments consisted of treatment A (probiotic/isolate B1), treatment B (probiotic/isolate B2), treatment C (a mixture of isolates B1 and B2), and treatment D as the control with lecithin. The observed variables included feed intake, body weight, body weight gain, feed conversion ratio (FCR), mortality, and performance index. The results showed that sophorolipid supplementation did not significantly affect feed intake, body weight, FCR, mortality, or broiler performance index. However, body weight gain showed a significant difference in the second week for some treatments. Overall, sophorolipid supplementation in this study was not able to significantly improve broiler production performance compared with the control.
