| dc.description.abstract | Peningkatan jumlah penduduk seiring bonus demografi meningkatkan timbulan sampah di Kabupaten Bekasi hingga menghasilkan sampah sekitar 2.250 ton per hari dengan dominasi sampah rumah tangga. Namun capaian pengurangan sampah Kabupaten Bekasi baru mencapai 7,48% dan penanganannya 34,41%, yang masih di bawah target nasional yaitu sebesar 30% dan 70%. Di samping itu, partisipasi masyarakat dalam pengelolaan sampah masih rendah dan meskipun jumlah bank sampah di Kabupaten Bekasi cukup banyak, pengelolaannya belum berjalan optimal. Bank Sampah Villa 1 Asri di Kecamatan Tambun Selatan merupakan salah satu bank sampah pelopor yang telah melakukan pengelolaan sampah dari sumbernya pada tingkat rumah tangga serta mengolah sampah organik secara berkelanjutan sehingga berpotensi menjadi contoh bagi pengembangan bank sampah lainnya, Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah; 1) Mengidentifikasi mekanisme operasional bank sampah; 2) Menganalisis nilai tambah; 3) Menganalisis status keberlanjutan Bank Sampah Villa 1 Asri. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif, metode hayami dan analisis keberlanjutan (MSA). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa operasional Bank Sampah Villa 1 asri sudah berjalan sesuai standar pengelolaan sampah permukiman, pengolahan sampah organik menjadi maggot segar, maggot kering dan pupuk kompos menghasilkan nilai tambah positif, serta Bank sampah villa 1 asri sudah berada dalam kategori berkelanjutan berdasarkan aspek ekonomi, sosial dan lingkungan. | |
| dc.description.abstract | Population growth alongside the demographic bonus has increased waste generation in Bekasi Regency to about 2,250 tons per day, dominated by household waste. However, Bekasi Regency's waste reduction rate is only 7.48%, and its handling rate is 34.41%, both below the national targets of 30% and 70%, respectively. Community participation in waste management remains low, and although Bekasi Regency has many waste banks, their management is not yet optimal. Bank Sampah Villa 1 Asri in Tambun Selatan Subdistrict is a pioneering waste bank that manages waste from the household source and sustainably processes organic waste, making it a potential model for other waste banks. This study aims to: 1) identify the waste bank's operational mechanism; 2) analyze its value added; and 3) analyze the sustainability status of Bank Sampah Villa 1 Asri. The methods used are descriptive qualitative, the Hayami method, and sustainability analysis (MSA). Results show that Bank Sampah Villa 1 Asri operates in accordance with residential waste management standards, that processing organic waste into fresh maggot, dried maggot, and compost generates positive value added, and that the waste bank is in the sustainable category based on economic, social, and environmental aspects. | |
