T Anestira Agri Berkah experienced catfish nugget returns due to foreignmaterial contamination, requiring replacement production and additional costs. This study aimed to evaluate Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), identify the causes of returns, and assess potential cost efficiency through GMP improvements. Data were collected from July to December 2025 through observation, interviews, documentation, a CPPOB checklist, and production and cost records, then analyzed using a diagram fishbone, partial budgeting, and the R/C Ratio. The GMP evaluation scored 29 out of 58, equivalent to 50% compliance and indicating a need for improvement. Four return incidents occurred, each involving 143 packs, due to hair, threads from workers’ clothing, and a straight pin. Replacement production generated an average additional cost of Rp4.415.500 per month. GMP improvements were projected to cost Rp1.502.750 per month, generate net savings of Rp2.912.750, and increase the R/C Ratio from 1,27 to 1,36. Strengthening worker hygiene, work procedures, process control, and final-product inspection could improve cost efficiency.
