| dc.description.abstract | Zeolit ZSM-12 berstruktur MTW berpotensi sebagai katalis heterogen, tetapi sifat fisikokimianya dipengaruhi oleh kondisi sintesis. Penelitian ini mengoptimalkan sintesis hidrotermal zeolit ZSM-12 menggunakan tetraetilamonium bromida (TEABr) sebagai templat organik pada variasi rasio Si/Al (70, 80, 90) dan suhu kristalisasi 140, 145, dan 150 °C. Sembilan variasi sampel disintesis dan dianalisis kristalinitasnya menggunakan XRD, kemudian tiga sampel dengan kristalinitas tertinggi dikarakterisasi lebih lanjut menggunakan analisis FTIR, SEM-EDX, dan TGA. Hasil menunjukkan seluruh sampel membentuk fase MTW khas ZSM-12 dengan derajat kristalinitas 61,02–81,99%, tertinggi pada rasio Si/Al 80 dan suhu 145 °C (Z80-145, 81,99%). Spektroskopi FTIR mengonfirmasi terbentuknya kerangka aluminosilikat, analisis SEM menunjukkan morfologi kuboid dengan agregasi terendah pada Z80-145 dengan analisis EDX menunjukkan rasio Si/Al yang mendekati nilai target, dan analisis TGA mengindikasikan kestabilan termal yang baik hingga 800 °C. | |
| dc.description.abstract | MTW-structured ZSM-12 zeolite has potential as a heterogeneous catalyst, but its physicochemical properties are influenced by the synthesis conditions. This study optimizes the hydrothermal synthesis of ZSM-12 zeolite using tetraethylammonium bromide (TEABr) as an organic template with variations in the Si/Al ratio (70, 80, 90) and crystallization temperatures of 140, 145, and 150 °C. Nine sample variations were synthesized and their crystallinity analyzed using XRD, then the three samples with the highest crystallinity were further characterized using FTIR, SEM-EDX, and TGA analysis. The results showed that all samples formed the typical MTW phase of ZSM-12 with a crystallinity degree of 61.02–81.99%, highest at the Si/Al ratio of 80 and temperature of 145 °C (Z80-145, 81.99%). FTIR spectroscopy confirmed the formation of the aluminosilicate framework, SEM analysis showed a cuboid morphology with the lowest aggregation in Z80-145, EDX analysis showed a Si/Al ratio close to the target value, and TGA analysis indicated good thermal stability up to 800 °C. | |
