      Abstract
Thalassia hemprichii mendominasi kandungan karbon (25,77 gC/m²). Berdasarkan pemetaan NDVI, kelas Lamun Padat mendominasi dengan luas 13,19 ha, menghasilkan total cadangan karbon sebesar 0,228 tonC. Integrasi penginderaan jauh dan survei lapang efektif mendukung pendugaan karbon biru di pulau kecil.

Seagrass ecosystems played an important role as blue carbon reservoirs, yet experienced anthropogenic pressure that reduced their carbon storage capacity at Kelapa Island, Seribu Islands. This study aimed to map seagrass distribution and estimate its carbon stock using Sentinel-2B imagery integrated with field data. Surveys were conducted on 11–13 April 2026 at 4 stations to classify benthic habitat using Object Based Image Analysis (OBIA) with the K-Nearest Neighbour algorithm, while carbon stock was estimated through a biomass and NDVI approach. Results showed seagrass covered 17.02 ha of 93.22 ha of benthic habitat, with an overall accuracy of 78.21% and a Kappa coefficient of 0.42. Thalassia hemprichii dominated carbon content (25.77 gC/m²). Based on NDVI mapping, the Dense Seagrass class dominated with an area of 13.19 ha, yielding a total carbon stock of 0.228 tonC. Remote sensing and field survey integration effectively supported blue carbon estimation on small islands.
