      Abstract

Production planning is essential for maintaining a balance between product demand and availability. In the perfume business unit studied, production planning is still conducted manually, which may lead to mismatches between production quantity, budget utilization, and inventory availability. This study aims to model and solve a production planning problem using the fuzzy goal programming (FGP) method. Demand parameters were obtained through a forecasting process using the Random Forest method based on historical sales data from 2025. The forecasting results were used as input parameters in the FGP model, which considers the objectives of maximizing profit, controlling budget utilization, and maintaining safety stock levels. The model was solved using Python software. The implementation results show that the FGP model is capable of generating a production plan that satisfies the company's objectives without creating negative inventory levels that could potentially lead to stockouts.
