Analisis Usaha Penggemukan Itik Pedaging di Genefar Farm Kota Kediri Jawa Timur

Abstract

Tingginya konsumsi daging itik di Jawa Timur dan besarnya peluang pasar yang tersedia menjadi peluang untuk mengembangkan usaha mandiri. Analisis usaha ini bertujuan mengetahui performa produksi dan kelayakan usaha penggemukan itik pedaging pada Genefar Farm yang berlokasi di Kecamatan Pare, Kabupaten Kediri, Jawa Timur. Hasil analisis usaha menunjukkan bahwa performa produksi dengan rataan konsumsi pakan per ekor pada periode pertama sebesar 642,6 gr/ekor, sedangkan pada periode kedua sebesar 648 gr/ekor, nilai Feed Conversion Ratio (FCR) sebesar 1,95 dan 1,82 yang tidak melewati nilai standar. Nilai indeks performa (IP) meningkat pada periode kedua menjadi 277. Secara finansial, usaha memperoleh penerimaan sebesar Rp8.725.000 dengan keuntungan Rp236.960, selain itu, nilai produksi dan harga jual telah melampaui BEP, dengan nilai R/C rasio sebesar 1,03 yang menunjukkan usaha layak untuk dijalankan. Usaha penggemukan itik pedaging di Genefar Farm layak dikembangkan dengan peningkatan manajemen pemeliharaan dan skala usaha di masa mendatang.

The high demand for duck meat in East Java and the substantial market potential provide promising opportunities for the development of commercial duck farming enterprises. This study aimed to evaluate the production performance and business feasibility of a broiler duck fattening enterprise at Genefar Farm, located in Pare District, Kediri Regency, East Java. The results showed that the average feed consumption per duck was 642.6 g/bird during the first production period and 648.0 g/bird during the second period. The Feed Conversion Ratio (FCR) values were 1.95 and 1.82, respectively, both of which were within the recommended standard. The Performance Index (PI) increased to 277 in the second production period. Financial analysis indicated that the enterprise generated total revenue of IDR 8,725,000 and a profit of IDR 236,960. In addition, both production output and selling price exceeded the Break-Even Point (BEP), while the Revenue-Cost (R/C) ratio was 1.03, indicating that the business is financially feasible. Therefore, the broiler duck fattening enterprise at Genefar Farm has strong potential for further development through improved farm management practices and expansion of production scale.
