dc.description.abstractAir sungai merupakan sumber air baku yang memerlukan pemantauan kualitas, salah satunya melalui analisis ion fluorida. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan dan memvalidasi metode spektrofotometri sinar tampak berbasis kompleks asam zirkonil-SPADNS untuk penentuan fluorida dalam air sungai. Uji kestabilan serapan menunjukkan bahwa kompleks stabil pada rentang waktu 10–15 menit setelah penambahan reagen. Optimasi kondisi analisis dilakukan menggunakan Response Surface Methodology dengan desain Box-Behnken dan menghasilkan kondisi optimum pada pH 3,0, konsentrasi zirkonil 0,009%, dan waktu reaksi 10 menit. Metode yang dikembangkan memenuhi seluruh kriteria validasi, meliputi linearitas, presisi, akurasi, limit kuantifikasi, limit deteksi metode, dan ketidakpastian pengukuran. Secara keseluruhan, penelititan mengenai optimasi dan valiadasi metode spektrofotometri sinar tampak berbasis kompleks asam zirkonil-SPADNS menunjukkan kinerja analitis yang baik dan memenuhi seluruh parameter validasi sehingga layak diterapkan untuk analisis fluorida dalam air sungai.
dc.description.abstractRiver water is an important source of raw water that requires regular quality monitoring, including fluoride analysis. This study aimed to develop and validate a visible spectrophotometric method based on the zirconyl-SPADNS complex for the determination of fluoride in river water. The absorbance stability test showed that the complex remained stable within 10–15 minutes after reagent addition. Analytical conditions were optimized using Response Surface Methodology with a Box–Behnken design, resulting in optimum conditions of pH 3.0, 0.009% zirconyl concentration, and a 10-minute reaction time. The developed method satisfied all validation criteria, including linearity, precision, accuracy, limit of quantification, method detection limit, and measurement uncertainty. Overall, the optimized and validated method demonstrated satisfactory analytical performance and is suitable for fluoride determination in river water.
