      Abstract
Permintaan ekspor kedelai edamame meningkat tiap tahun.

The demand for edamame soybean exports increases annually. There are constraints such as limited land and fertility issues. The problem of limited land can be overcome by utilizing swampy land using the water-saturated cultivation method. Fertility problems can be overcome by using ameliorants, one of which is humic acid, which plays a role in increasing cation exchange capacity. Edamame soybean cultivation is quite prospective to be developed using the water saturated cultivation technique combined with humic acid. There is no definite dosage for humic acid application. The effect of humic acid dosage on water-saturated cultivation needs to be studied. The study was conducted from August to November 2025 at the Leuwikopo Experimental Garden of IPB University. The study used a one-factor Randomized Complete Block Design (RCBD) with four treatment levels of humic acid dosage 0 kg ha-1 (H0), 30 kg ha-1 (H1), 60 kg ha-1 (H2), and 90 kg ha-1 (H3). Increasing the humic acid dosage was directly proportional to the increase in edamame soybean growth and yield. The highest growth and yield were achieved with the highest dose treatment 90 kg ha-1. The dose treatment 90 kg ha-1 had a highly significant effect on root nodule weight, number of young pods, and 100 wet grain weight.
