Kualitas semen segar merupakan indikator penting keberhasilan program inseminasi buatan pada sapi pejantan. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis hubungan kandungan nutrisi pakan yang meliputi Bahan Kering (BK), Protein Kasar (PK), dan Total Digestable Nutrient (TDN) terhadap kualitas semen segar sapi Limousin di Balai Besar Inseminasi Buatan (BBIB) Singosari. Analisis data menggunakan uji korelasi Pearson dan regresi linear sederhana dengan parameter yang digunakan meliputi kandungan nutrisi pakan serta kualitas semen segar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nutrisi pakan tidak terdapat hubungan yang signifikan terhadap kualitas semen segar dengan nilai (p>0,05). Nilai korelasi tergolong yaitu r = -0,203 hingga 0,160, dengan koefisien determinasi mencapai angka 0,000 hingga 0,041 Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa variasi kualitas semen tidak dapat dijelaskan oleh kandungan nutrisi pakan dan diduga lebih dipengaruhi oleh umur, genetik, frekuensi koleksi semen, kondisi lingkungan, serta manajemen reproduksi. Penelitian ini membuktikan bahwa nutrisi pakan tidak terdapat hubungan yang signifikan dengan kualitas semen segar sapi Limousin di BBIB Singosari. Fresh semen quality is an important indicator of the success of artificial insemination programs in breeding bulls. This study aimed to analyze the relationship between feed nutrient content, including Dry Matter (DM), Crude Protein (CP), and Total Digestible Nutrients (TDN), and the fresh semen quality of Limousin bulls at the Indonesian National Artificial Insemination Center (BBIB) Singosari. Data were analyzed using Pearson correlation and simple linear regression. The parameters observed included feed nutrient content and fresh semen quality. The results showed that feed nutrient content had no significant relationship with fresh semen quality (p > 0.05). The correlation coefficients ranged from r = -0.203 to 0.160, indicating a very weak relationship, while the coefficient of determination (R²) ranged from 0.000 to 0.041. These findings indicate that the variation in fresh semen quality could not be explained by feed nutrient content and was likely influenced by other factors, such as age, genetics, semen collection frequency, environmental conditions, and reproductive management. This study concludes that feed nutrient content has no significant relationship with the fresh semen quality of Limousin bulls at BBIB Singosari.
