      Abstract
      ZAMZAMI HUZAIMAN. Pengaruh Kombinasi Pupuk Kandang Ayam dan Pupuk Anorganik pada Pertumbuhan Kakao Belum Menghasilkan di Bawah Tegakan Karet. Dibimbing oleh SUPIJATNO. Tanaman kakao di Indonesia pada umummya menggunakan pupuk anorganik untuk memenuhi kebutuhan hara. Penggunaan pupuk anorganik secara berlebihan dalam jangka panjang dapat menyebabkan penurunan kualitas tanah dan pencemaran lingkungan. Pemberian kombinasi pupuk kandang ayam petelur dan pupuk anorganik menjadi alternatif dalam menyediakan unsur hara untuk meningkatkan pertumbuhan tanaman kakao. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui pengaruh kombinasi pupuk kandang ayam petelur dan pupuk anorganik pada pertumbuhan kakao belum menghasilkan di bawah tegakan karet. Percobaan menggunakan RKLT (Rancangan Kelompok Lengkap Teracak) faktor tunggal, yaitu kombinasi pupuk kandang ayam petelur dan pupuk anorganik (Urea, SP-36, KCl, dan Kieserit). Perlakuan yang diberikan terdiri dari 5 taraf, yaitu 100% dosis anjuran pupuk anorganik (P0), 5 kg pupuk kandang ayam + 80% dosis anjuran pupuk anorganik (P1), 10 kg pupuk kandang ayam + 60% dosis anjuran pupuk anorganik (P2), 15 kg pupuk kandang ayam + 40% dosis anjuran pupuk anorganik (P3), dan 20 kg pupuk kandang ayam + 20% dosis anjuran pupuk anorganik (P4). Kombinasi pupuk kandang ayam dan pupuk anorganik memberikan pengaruh nyata terhadap pertumbuhan jumlah daun per tanaman kakao di 8, 10, dan 12 MSA (minggu setelah aplikasi), serta jarak antar daun cabang primer di 12 MSA, tetapi tidak memberikan pengaruh nyata pada tinggi simpangan, diameter batang pokok, panjang cabang primer, dan diameter cabang primer. Perlakuan P4 (20 kg pupuk kandang ayam + 20% dosis anjuran pupuk anorganik) merupakan perlakuan terbaik karena dapat meningkatkan jumlah daun per tanaman secara signifikan dibanding perlakuan lainnya.
       
      ZAMZAMI HUZAIMAN. Effects of Combination Chicken Manure and Inorganic Fertilizer on the Growth of the Young Cacao Trees Under Rubber Trees. Supervised by SUPIJATNO. Cacao plants in Indonesia generally use inorganic fertilizers to fulfill the nutrient requirements. Excessive use of inorganic fertilizers in the long term can cause soil degradation and environmental pollution. The application of a combination of chicken manure and inorganic fertilizers is an alternative way of providing nutrients to improve cacao plant growth. This study aims to determine the effect of a combination of chicken manure and inorganic fertilizers on the growth of young cocoa trees under rubber trees. The experiment used a single factor randomized complete block design (RCBD), consisting of a combination of chicken manure and inorganic fertilizers (Urea, SP-36, KCl, and Kieserite). The treatments consisted of five levels, consisting 100% recommended dose of inorganic fertilizer (P0), 5 kg of chicken manure + 80% recommended dose of inorganic fertilizer (P1), 10 kg of chicken manure + 60% recommended dose of inorganic fertilizer (P2), 15 kg of chicken manure + 40% of the recommended dose of inorganic fertilizer (P3), and 20 kg of chicken manure + 20% of the recommended dose of inorganic fertilizer (P4). The combination of chicken manure and inorganic fertilizer had a significant effect on the growth of leaf number per cocoa plant at 8, 10, 12 WAT (weeks after treatment), as well as the leaf spacing on primary branch at 12 WAT, but did not have a significant effect on plagiotropic height, stem diameter, primary branch length, and primary branch diameter. Treatment P4 (20 kg of chicken manure + 20% of the recommended dose of inorganic fertilizer) was the best treatment because it increased leaf number per cocoa plant compared to the other treatments.
