dc.description.abstractKacang hijau (Vigna radiata L.) merupakan salah satu tanaman Leguminosae penghasil protein nabati di Indonesia dengan kandungan protein sekitar 22% dan menempati urutan ketiga setelah kedelai dan kacang tanah. Meskipun memiliki nilai gizi dan manfaat yang tinggi, produksi kacang hijau nasional masih belum mampu memenuhi kebutuhan masyarakat serta mengalami penurunan produksi pada tahun 2017–2019. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengevaluasi karakter agronomi dan produksi galur-galur kacang hijau IPB. Penelitian dilaksanakan di Kebun Percobaan Cikabayan Bawah, IPB, Dramaga, Bogor, Jawa Barat, pada bulan Oktober 2025 hingga Januari 2026. Pengamatan dilakukan terhadap karakter kualitatif dan kuantitatif yang dianalisis menggunakan sidik ragam, uji BNJ 5%, heritabilitas, korelasi pearson, dan seleksi tidak langsung dengan varietas pembanding Vima 1, Vima 2, dan Vima 5. Seleksi genotipe diutamakan pada karakter produktivitas yang didukung karakter lainnya yang berkorelasi positif dengan produktivitas, seperti jumlah polong, bobot polong, bobot biji, umur berbunga, tinggi tanaman, jumlah cabang produktif dan lebar tajuk. Dipertimbangkan pula karakter umur panen dan periode panen. Terdapat enam genotipe yang menunjukkan produktivitas lebih tinggi dari 1,5 ton ha-1 yaitu genotipe F7-Lom2/129-125, F8-Lom2/V2-1, F8-Lom2/V2-5, F8-Lom2/V2-6, F8-VR480B-22, F9-VR10/V1-10.
dc.description.abstractMung bean (Vigna radiata L.) is one of the legume crops that produces vegetable protein in Indonesia with a protein content around 22%, ranking third after soybeans and peanuts. Despite its high nutritional value, mung bean production is still unable to meet community needs and experienced a decline in production in the 2017–2019 period. This study aims to evaluate the agronomic and productivity characteristics of IPB mung bean lines. The study was conducted at the Cikabayan Bawah Experimental Garden, IPB, Dramaga, Bogor, West Java, from October 2025-January 2026. Observations were made on qualitative and quantitative characters analyzed using analysis of variance, 5% BNJ test, heritability, Pearson correlation, and indirect selection with comparison varieties Vima 1, Vima 2, and Vima 5. Genotype selection prioritized productivity traits supported by other traits that were positively correlated with productivity, such as pod number, pod weight, seed weight, flowering age, plant height, number of productive branches, and crown width. Harvest age and harvest period were also considered. There were six genotypes that showed higher productivity than 1.5 tons ha-1, namely genotypes F7-Lom2/129-125, F8-Lom2/V2-1, F8-Lom2/V2-5, F8-Lom2/V2-6, F8-VR480B-22, F9-VR10/V1-10.
