      Uji Daya Hasil 19 Galur Harapan Padi Sawah (Oryza sativa L.) Tipe Baru Generasi F9

      Abstract
      Produktivitas padi perlu terus ditingkatkan seiring dengan meningkatnya kebutuhan pangan nasional. Optimalisasi produktivitas padi mengalami kendala, seperti perubahan iklim, yang dapat memicu penurunan produktivitas padi. Perakitan varietas unggul dengan daya hasil yang tinggi menjadi salah satu strategi untuk terus meningkatkan produktivitas padi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi dan menguji galur-galur padi harapan serta mengidentifikasi galur yang memiliki potensi hasil dan karakter agronomi yang baik. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada bulan Januari hingga Mei 2026 di Kebun Percobaan Sawah Baru, Desa Babakan, Kecamatan Dramaga, Kabupaten Bogor, Jawa Barat, dengan menggunakan rancangan kelompok lengkap teracak (RKLT) tiga ulangan dengan satu faktor, yaitu galur dengan jumlah 19 dan 5 varietas pembanding. Data dianalisis menggunakan analisis ragam yang dilanjutkan dengan uji Dunnet, analisis korelasi Pearson, dan pendugaan heritabilitas arti luas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa produktivitas merupakan karakter kuantitatif yang dipengaruhi oleh kombinasi karakter agronomi dan komponen hasil yang saling mendukung, sehingga tidak dapat diduga berdasarkan satu komponen hasil tertentu. Galur IPB202-F-42-2-1 mempunyai produktivitas dan jumlah anakan tertinggi yaitu 7,3 ton ha-1 dan 16 anakan per rumpun. Produktivitas tersebut nyata lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan IPB 13S, IPB 9G, Ciherang, dan Inpari 32, tetapi tidak berbeda nyata dari Inpari 48. Galur tersebut mempunyai jumlah anakan total dan produktif yang tinggi, sehingga berpotensi untuk menjadi galur yang potensial untuk dilanjutkan pada uji multilokasi.
       
      increasing national food demand. The optimization of rice productivity faces several constraints, such as climate change, which can trigger a decline in rice productivity. The development of high-yielding superior varieties is one of the strategies to continuously increase rice productivity. This study aimed to evaluate promising rice lines and identify those with high yield potential and good agronomic traits. The research was conducted from January to May 2026 at the Sawah Baru Experimental Farm, Babakan Village, Dramaga District, Bogor Regency, West Java, using a randomized complete block design (RCBD) with three replications and with one factor, which was genotype consisting of 19 promising rice lines and five check varieties. Data were analyzed using analysis of variance (ANOVA), followed by Dunnett's test for comparison with the check varieties and Pearson's correlation analysis, and broad-sense heritability estimation. The results indicated that grain yield is a quantitative trait determined by the combined effects of agronomic traits and yield components rather than by a single yield component. Line IPB202-F-42-2-1 exhibited the highest grain yield (7.3 t ha?¹) and the highest number of tillers (16 tillers hill?¹). Its grain yield was significantly higher than those of IPB 13S, IPB 9G, Ciherang and Inpari 32, but was not significantly different from that of Inpari 48. This line also exhibited high total and productive tiller numbers, indicating its potensial as a promising candidate for further evaluation in multi-location yield trials.
