Gedung Common Classroom IPB Dramaga memiliki bidang atap yang luas,
tetapi limpasan air hujan belum dimanfaatkan sebagai sumber air alternatif.
Penelitian ini bertujuan merancang sistem pemanenan air hujan dan menyusun
Rencana Anggaran Biaya pemasangannya. Analisis dilakukan menggunakan data
curah hujan periode 2005–2025, distribusi Log Pearson III, metode Mononobe,
curah hujan andalan Weibull 80%, ketentuan SNI 8153:2015, serta metode kurva
massa Rippl. Curah hujan rencana periode ulang 2 tahun sebesar 128,64 mm
menghasilkan intensitas 28,09 mm/jam. Bidang tangkapan seluas 3.699,56 m²
menghasilkan potensi air hujan 3.392,60 m³/tahun atau 6,35% dari kebutuhan air
gedung. Sistem menggunakan talang berdiameter 4–13 inci, pipa tegak 4–7 inci,
pipa datar 6–10 inci, first flush diverter 5,10 m³, serta satu tangki FRP berkapasitas
975 m³. Total Rencana Anggaran Biaya sebesar Rp3.738.751.000,00. Rancangan
ini dapat menjadi alternatif pemanfaatan air hujan untuk kebutuhan non-konsumsi

The Common Classroom Building at IPB Dramaga has a large roof area, but
its rainwater runoff has not been utilized as an alternative water source. This study
aimed to design a rainwater harvesting system and estimate its installation budget.
The analysis used rainfall data from 2005–2025, the Log Pearson III distribution,
the Mononobe method, 80% dependable rainfall using the Weibull method, SNI
8153:2015, and the Rippl mass curve method. The 2-year design rainfall was 128.64
mm, producing a rainfall intensity of 28.09 mm/hour. A catchment area of 3,699.56
m² provides a rainwater harvesting potential of 3,392.60 m³/year, equivalent to
6.35% of the building’s water demand. The system uses 4–13 inch gutters, 4–7 inch
vertical pipes, 6–10 inch horizontal pipes, a 5.10 m³ first flush diverter, and one 975
m³ FRP storage tank. The total estimated budget is IDR 3,738,751,000. The
proposed system provides an alternative non-potable water source and supports
water conservation on campus.
