dc.description.abstractSinbiotik air kelapa fermentasi berpotensi menjadi pengganti antibiotik yang alami dan ramah lingkungan. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui pengaruh pemberian air kelapa fermentasi terhadap hasil karkas ayam broiler. Penelitian dilaksanakan di Kandang Ayam Broiler Sekolah Vokasi IPB University pada Juni–Agustus 2025, menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan 5 perlakuan dan 4 ulangan pada 200 ekor DOC ayam broiler strain Cobb, yaitu P0 (air minum murni), P1 (air kelapa), P2 (air kelapa fermentasi Lactobacillus plantarum), P3 (air kelapa fermentasi Saccharomyces cerevisiae), dan P4 (air kelapa fermentasi Lactobacillus plantarum dan Saccharomyces cerevisiae). Sebanyak 1 ekor jantan dan 1 ekor betina per ulangan disembelih, sehingga total terdapat 20 ekor jantan dan 20 ekor betina. Hasil menunjukkan ayam jantan lebih responsif terhadap P2, dengan perbedaan signifikan pada bagian paha atas, sedangkan pada betina sebagian besar perlakuan tidak berbeda nyata, kecuali P1 yang menunjukkan hasil relatif baik pada beberapa parameter. Secara umum, pemberian sinbiotik mampu meningkatkan pertumbuhan ayam broiler.
dc.description.abstractFermented coconut water synbiotics can be used as a natural and environmentally friendly alternative to antibiotics. This study aimed to evaluate the effect of fermented coconut water supplementation on the carcass profile of broiler chickens. The research was conducted at the Broiler Chicken Farm of the Vocational School, IPB University from June to August 2025 using a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with 5 treatments and 4 replications on 200 Cobb strain broiler chicks (DOC), namely P0 (plain drinking water), P1 (coconut water), P2 (coconut water fermented with Lactobacillus plantarum), P3 (coconut water fermented with Saccharomyces cerevisiae), and P4 (coconut water fermented with Lactobacillus plantarum and Saccharomyces cerevisiae). At slaughter, one male and one female were taken from each replication, resulting in a total of 20 males and 20 females slaughtered. The results showed that male broilers responded better to P2, particularly in thigh yield, while female broilers showed limited differences among treatments, although P1 produced favorable values in several parameters. Overall, synbiotic supplementation improved broiler growth performance.
