O RONGGO ZARRAR SEMEDI.
O RONGGO ZARRAR SEMEDI. Development of an Employee Engagement Model to Support the Sustainable Performance of Palm Oil Plantation Employees at Seruyan Estate. Advised by LILI DAHLIANI. This study analyzes best practices of employee engagement (X) on sustainable performance (Y) with employee engagement as a mediator (M) in Division I of Seruyan Estate, Central Kalimantan. A sample of 59 employees was selected via stratified random sampling. Regression analysis and the Sobel Test confirmed all hypotheses X significantly influenced M (ß = 0.770; R² = 0.534) and Y (ß = 0.545; R² = 0.373), with simultaneous model R² = 0.490. Employee engagement was confirmed as a full mediator (Z = 3.274; p = 0.001; proportion 59.9%). ANOVA identified job type as the only significant demographic factor (F = 3.673; p = 0.017), with harvesting workers showing higher engagement than maintenance workers. Secondary data validation (attendance, overtime, K3 records, production) corroborated survey findings. The study produced the Praktis Model as an implementation framework adaptable to other plantations with similar profiles.
