      Abstract
      SUCI PEBRI PUTRI GUSYENINGSIH Analisis Faktor-Faktor yang Mempengaruhi Hasil Tangkapan Ikan Tuna di PPI Binuangeun, Banten. Dibimbing oleh TARYONO dan M. MUKHLIS KAMAL. Perikanan tuna merupakan salah satu kegiatan perikanan tangkap yang penting di Pangkalan Pendaratan Ikan (PPI) Binuangeun karena memberikan kontribusi terhadap pendapatan nelayan dan pemanfaatan sumber daya perikanan pelagis besar di Samudera Hindia. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi hasil tangkapan ikan tuna di PPI Binuangeun, Banten. Penelitian dilakukan menggunakan metode purposive sampling sejumlah 30 nelayan tuna. Data yang dikumpulkan meliputi data primer dan sekunder. Analisis dilakukan menggunakan fungsi produksi Cobb-Douglas yang ditransformasikan ke dalam bentuk regresi linear berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model terbaik memiliki nilai Adjusted R² sebesar 0,4158 dengan tingkat signifikansi 0,0014. Secara parsial, jumlah setting per hari berpengaruh signifikan terhadap hasil tangkapan ikan tuna dengan koefisien elastisitas sebesar 0,4273, sedangkan lama trip rata-rata, pengalaman nelayan, dan penggunaan BBM tidak berpengaruh signifikan. Hasil uji asumsi klasik menunjukkan bahwa model memenuhi asumsi multikolinearitas, heteroskedastisitas, dan normalitas. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa intensitas operasi penangkapan merupakan faktor utama yang memengaruhi hasil tangkapan tuna. Oleh karena itu, peningkatan produktivitas usaha penangkapan perlu diarahkan pada optimalisasi upaya penangkapan yang efisien dengan tetap memperhatikan prinsip pengelolaan sumber daya perikanan yang berkelanjutan.       SUCI PEBRI PUTRI GUSYENINGSIH. Analysis of Factors Affecting Tuna Catch Production at Binuangeun Fish Landing Base, Banten. Supervised by TARYONO and M. MUKHLIS KAMAL. Tuna fisheries constitute one of the most important capture fisheries activities at the Binuangeun Fish Landing Base (PPI Binuangeun), contributing significantly to fishers’ income and the utilization of large pelagic fish resources in the Indian Ocean. This study aimed to analyze the factors affecting tuna catch production at PPI Binuangeun, Lebak Regency, Banten Province. A survey method was employed involving 30 tuna fishers selected through purposive sampling. The collected data included catch production, average fishing trip duration, number of settings per day, fishing experience, fuel consumption, and other fishing operation characteristics. Data were analyzed using the Cobb-Douglas production function transformed into a multiple linear regression model. The results indicated that the best regression model had an Adjusted R² value of 0.4158 and a significance level of 0.0014. Partially, the number of settings per day significantly affected tuna catch production, with an elasticity coefficient of 0.4273, whereas average trip duration, fishing experience, and fuel consumption had no significant effect. Classical assumption tests confirmed that the model satisfied the assumptions of multicollinearity, heteroscedasticity, and normality. These findings suggest that fishing operation intensity is the primary factor influencing tuna catch production. Therefore, efforts to increase fishing productivity should focus on optimizing fishing operations efficiently while maintaining the principles of sustainable fisheries resource management.
