Ikan layang (Decapterus spp.) merupakan ikan pelagis kecil bernilai
ekonomis penting yang daerah penangkapannya dipengaruhi oleh dinamika kondisi
oseanografi. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis sebaran spasial daerah
penangkapan ikan layang berdasarkan salinitas, SPL, dan klorofil-a, serta hubungan
temporal antara parameter oseanografi dan produktivitas penangkapan. Data
oseanografi diperoleh dari Copernicus Marine Service dan Aqua MODIS,
sedangkan data perikanan berasal dari logbook PPN Pekalongan periode 2019
2022. Data dianalisis secara spasial dan menggunakan analisis korelasi silang. Hasil
penelitian menunjukkan bahwa daerah penangkapan ikan layang mengalami
pergeseran antar musim mengikuti dinamika oseanografi, sedangkan salinitas
memiliki hubungan temporal yang relatif paling kuat terhadap CPUE dibandingkan
SPL dan klorofil-a, meskipun seluruh hubungan belum signifikan secara statistik.
Perubahan kondisi oseanografi tersebut berkaitan dengan dinamika daerah
penangkapan dan produktivitas ikan layang di utara Laut Jawa.

Scad (Decapterus spp.) is an economically important small pelagic fish
whose fishing grounds are influenced by oceanographic dynamics. This study
aimed to analyze the spatial distribution of scad fishing grounds based on salinity,
SST, and chlorophyll-a, as well as the temporal relationship between oceanographic
parameters and fishing productivity. Oceanographic data were obtained from the
Copernicus Marine Service and Aqua MODIS, while fisheries data were collected
from the fishing logbooks of Pekalongan National Fishing Port (PPN Pekalongan)
for the 2019–2022 period. The data were analyzed using spatial analysis and cross
correlation analysis. The results showed that the distribution of scad fishing grounds
shifted seasonally following oceanographic dynamics. Salinity exhibited the
strongest temporal relationship with CPUE compared with SST and chlorophyll-a,
although none of the relationships were statistically significant. These findings
indicate that changes in oceanographic conditions are associated with the dynamics
of fishing grounds and scad fishing productivity in the northern Java Sea.
