      Abstract
Peran Hutan Tanaman Industri (HTI) semakin penting mengingat pasokan kayu di hutan alam semakin menurun akibat kegiatan eksploitasi yang terus- menerus. HTI menyediakan alternatif legal agar pasokan kayu tetap berjalan tanpa merusak hutan alam.

The importance of Industrial Plantation Forests (HTI) is increasingly evident, given the continued decline in timber supplies in natural forests due to ongoing exploitation. HTI provides a legal alternative to maintain timber supplies without damaging natural forests. Efficient harvesting can reduce production costs while preserving the forest footprint. The skidding stage is often considered a "bottleneck" because it requires the most time and energy among the stages. This study aims to determine the skidding techniques, the productivity of the cut-to-length (CTL) and tree-length (TL) methods at PT Arara Abadi, and to identify the factors that influence them. The methods used were time-series research with a null-stop method and field video recording. Skidding activities using the CTL method used an excavator grapple with a land pontoon, and the TL method used a skidder winch. Actual productivity was 20.68 m³/hour for the cut to length method and 60.43 m³/hour for the TL method. Dominant in effective time, with percentages of 92– 98% for the CTL method and 40–96% for the TL method.
