dc.description.abstractPerairan Sungai Lalan memiliki nilai strategis namun menghadapi tantangan keselamatan pelayaran akibat adanya potensi objek karam (wreck) dan perubahan morfologi dasar perairan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi keberadaan wreck dan menganalisis karakteristik morfologi dasar perairan di Sungai Lalan. Data diperoleh menggunakan teknologi Side Scan Sonar (SSS) StarFish 452F Pro yang dioperasikan sepanjang jalur survei navigasi. Hasil penelitian berhasil mengidentifikasi sejumlah objek yang diduga kuat sebagai wreck dengan variasi dimensi dan orientasi, serta memetakan kondisi morfologi dasar sungai yang dinamis seperti alur erosi dan sedimentasi. Temuan ini menegaskan efektivitas teknologi SSS StarFish 452F Pro dalam mendeteksi objek antropogenik dan detail morfologi pada lingkungan perairan sungai yang memiliki tingkat kekeruhan tinggi. Implikasi dari penelitian ini adalah tersedianya peta citra sonar dan sebaran objek bawah air terkini yang dapat digunakan sebagai acuan otoritas keselamatan pelayaran dan pengelolaan alur transportasi di Perairan Sungai Lalan.
dc.description.abstractLalan River waters hold strategic value but face navigation safety challenges due to the potential presence of wrecks and changes in underwater morphology. This study aims to identify the presence of wrecks and analyze the characteristics of the underwater morphology in the Lalan River. Data were acquired using Side Scan Sonar (SSS) StarFish 452F Pro technology operated along the navigation survey tracks. The results successfully identified several objects strongly suspected to be wrecks with varying dimensions and orientations, as well as mapped dynamic riverbed morphological conditions such as erosion channels and sedimentation. These findings confirm the effectiveness of the SSS StarFish 452F Pro technology in detecting anthropogenic objects and morphological details within a highly turbid river environment. The implication of this research is the availability of an updated sonar imagery and underwater object distribution map, which can serve as a reference for marine safety authorities and transport lane management in the Lalan River waters.
