      Abstract
      Ketersediaan air bersih yang semakin terbatas serta tingginya curah hujan di Jakarta Utara mendorong pemanfaatan air hujan sebagai sumber air alternatif. SDN Kapuk Muara 03 telah menerapkan sistem pemanenan air hujan pada Gedung A, namun Gedung B dan Gedung C belum memiliki sistem serupa. Penelitian ini bertujuan merancang sistem pemanenan air hujan pada kedua gedung tersebut serta menganalisis potensi pemanfaatannya dalam memenuhi kebutuhan air bersih sekolah. Penelitian menggunakan data curah hujan periode 2005–2025 dari NASA POWER, luas atap bangunan, dan jumlah pengguna gedung. Analisis meliputi penentuan curah hujan rencana, intensitas hujan, suplai air hujan, kebutuhan air bersih, kapasitas tangki, serta dimensi talang dan perpipaan. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa distribusi Log Pearson Tipe III merupakan distribusi yang paling sesuai, dengan curah hujan rencana periode ulang dua tahun sebesar 67 mm dan intensitas hujan 11,24 mm/jam. Kapasitas tangki yang dibutuhkan untuk masing-masing gedung sebesar 212 m³ sehingga dipilih tangka panel modular sebesar 216 m³. Penerapan sistem ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan pemanfaatan air hujan dan mengurangi ketergantungan terhadap suplai air konvensional.
       
      Limited clean water availability and high rainfall in North Jakarta highlight the need for alternative water resources through rainwater harvesting. SDN Kapuk Muara 03 has implemented a rainwater harvesting system in Building A; however, Buildings B and C have not yet adopted a similar system. This study aimed to design a rainwater harvesting system for Buildings B and C and evaluate its potential to support the school's water demand. The study utilized rainfall data from 2005–2025 obtained from NASA POWER, building roof area data, and the number of building users. The analysis included the determination of design rainfall, rainfall intensity, rainwater supply, water demand, storage tank capacity, and the dimensions of gutters and piping systems. The results showed that the Log Pearson Type III distribution was the most suitable method for the rainfall data, with a two-year return period design rainfall of 67 mm and a rainfall intensity of 11.24 mm/h. The required storage capacity for each building was estimated at 212 m³; therefore, a 216 m³ modular panel storage tank was selected. The proposed system is expected to increase rainwater utilization and reduce dependence on conventional water supplies.
