dc.description.abstractKebakaran hutan dan lahan (karhutla) di Kota Dumai terus berulang akibat dominasi lahan gambut, sehingga diperlukan pemetaan kerawanan geospasial sebagai dasar penanganan. Penelitian ini bertujuan memetakan tingkat kerawanan karhutla di Kota Dumai serta merekomendasikan penanganan berbasis embung. Pemetaan menggunakan metode weighted overlay mengacu pada Perka BNPB No. 2 Tahun 2012, divalidasi dengan data titik panas berkepercayaan tinggi. Hasil menunjukkan kerawanan sedang mendominasi seluas 187.733,80 ha (88,68%), diikuti kerawanan tinggi seluas 20.896,99 ha (9,87%) yang terkonsentrasi pada lahan terbuka di atas tanah gambut, dan kerawanan rendah seluas 3.074,09 ha (01,45%), sedangkan curah hujan tidak berperan sebagai pembeda spasial karena relatif homogen. Seluruh titik panas terkonsentrasi pada zona sedang hingga tinggi dengan kepadatan meningkat searah kelas kerawanan, sehingga model dinilai valid. Direkomendasikan penanganan berbasis embung berkapasitas ±3.978 m³ bersumber air hujan, dengan estimasi empat unit untuk melayani satu zona kerawanan tinggi seluas 377 ha, dengan biaya pembangunan Rp1.436.777.515 per unit.
dc.description.abstractForest and land fires in Dumai City recur due to biophysical conditions dominated by peatlands, requiring geospatial hazard mapping as a basis for treatment. This study aims to map fire hazard levels in Dumai City and recommend a small reservoir-based treatment response. Mapping used the weighted overlay method referring to Perka BNPB No. 2 of 2012, validated using high-confidence hotspot data. Results show moderate hazard dominates covering 187,733.80 ha (88.68%), followed by high hazard covering 20,896.99 ha (9.87%) concentrated on open land cover over peat soil, and low hazard covering 3,074.09 ha (1.45%), while rainfall did not act as a spatial differentiator due to its relatively homogeneous condition. All hotspots were concentrated in moderate to high hazard zones, with density increasing along the hazard class, indicating the model is valid. A small reservoir-based treatment with a capacity of ±3,978 m³ and rainfall as its water source was recommended, with an estimated four units required to serve one highhazard zone of 377 ha, at a construction cost of IDR 1,436,777,515 per unit.
