| dc.description.abstract | Tingginya kebutuhan bibit pisang berkualitas mendorong pentingnya penggunaan pupuk daun yang efektif, namun tingginya harga pupuk komersial menyebabkan perlunya pengembangan formulasi pupuk substitusi yang lebih ekonomis dengan efektivitas yang tetap optimal terhadap pertumbuhan bibit pisang. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengevaluasi efektivitas jenis bahan pupuk dan variasi konsentrasi dalam meningkatkan pertumbuhan bibit pisang cavendish di nursery. Penelitian dilakukan di PT Great Giant Pineapple, Lampung. Penelitian dilakukan dari bulan November 2025 sampai Januari 2026. Rancangan percobaan yang digunakan adalah Rancangan Kelompok Lengkap Teracak (RKLT) faktorial. Faktor pertama adalah jenis pupuk yang terdiri dari pupuk operasional dan pupuk substitusi. Faktor kedua adalah konsentrasi pupuk dengan 3 taraf yaitu 1,5 g L-1, 2 g L-1, dan 2,5 g L-1. Terdapat enam perlakuan yang diulang sebanyak tiga kali, sehingga terdapat 18 satuan percobaan dengan ulangan sebagai kelompok. Hasil analisis ragam menunjukkan bahwa jenis pupuk berpengaruh nyata terhadap peubah girth 3, 7, dan 8 MST, serta jumlah pertambahan daun 4 MST. Konsentrasi pupuk juga berpengaruh nyata terhadap tinggi tanaman 4, 5, 7, dan 8 MST, girth 3, 4, 6, dan 7 MST, jumlah pertambahan daun 5 MST, serta lebar daun 5 dan 8 MST. Kombinasi perlakuan yang direkomendasikan adalah penggunaan pupuk substitusi dengan konsentrasi 2 g L-1. | |
| dc.description.abstract | The high demand for quality banana seedlings underscores the importance of effective foliar fertilizer application. However, the high cost of commercial fertilizers has necessitated the development of more economical substitute fertilizer formulations that maintain optimal effectiveness on banana seedling growth. This study aimed to evaluate the effectiveness of fertilizer types and concentration variations in promoting the growth of Cavendish banana seedlings in a nursery setting. The research was conducted at PT Great Giant Pineapple, Lampung, from November 2025 to January 2026. A factorial Randomized Complete Block Design (RCBD) was used, with the first factor being fertilizer type consisting of operational fertilizer and substitute fertilizer, and the second factor being fertilizer concentration at three levels: 1.5, 2.0, and 2.5 g L-1. Six treatment combinations were replicated three times, resulting in 18 experimental units with replications as blocks. Analysis of variance revealed that fertilizer type significantly affected girth at 3, 7, and WAP, as well as the number of leaf additions at 4 WAP. Fertilizer concentration significantly affected plant height at 4, 5, 7, and 8 WAP, girth at 3, 4, 6, and 7 WAP, number of leaf additions at 5 WAP, and leaf width at 5 and 8 WAP. The recommended treatment combination is the application of substitute fertilizer at a concentration of 2 g L-1. | |
