| dc.description.abstract | Padi merupakan komoditas pangan utama di Indonesia dengan kebutuhan yang terus meningkat seiring pertumbuhan penduduk. Pengembangan varietas unggul, khususnya padi tipe baru (PTB) menjadi salah satu upaya untuk meningkatkan produktivitas. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengevaluasi keragaan 80 galur padi sawah generasi F4 serta mengidentifikasi galur yang memiliki karakter agronomi dan potensi hasil yang tinggi. Penelitian dilakukan di Kebun Percobaan IPB Sawah Baru, Desa Babakan, Kecamatan Dramaga, Kabupaten Bogor, Jawa Barat. Penelitian dilakukan pada bulan Januari hingga Mei 2026. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan augmented design kelompok lengkap teracak dengan faktor tunggal yaitu galur padi. Galur yang digunakan dalam percobaan ini berjumlah 80 galur padi dengan 5 varietas pembanding dengan 4 ulangan. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan ANOVA dan uji lanjut t-Dunnett. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya perbedaan keragaan pada hampir semua karakter. Terdapat 17 galur potensial yang memiliki keragaan yang lebih baik dan menghasilkan bobot gabah per rumpun lebih tinggi dari pembanding yaitu IPB238-D-1 (76,53 g), IPB238-D-8 (79,90 g), IPB238-D-12 (73,40 g), IPB238-D-18 (77,87 g), IPB238-D-22 (77,99 g), IPB238-D-31 (73,67 g), IPB238-D-32 (72,60 g), IPB238-D-37 (70,60 g), IPB238-D-47 (84,12 g), IPB238-D-49 (73,01 g), IPB238-D-54 (82,12 g), IPB240-D-68 (64,91 g), IPB240-D-72 (69,91g), IPB240-D-73 (68,05 g), IPB240-D-74 (62,05 g), IPB240-D-77 (64,25 g) dan IPB240-D-79 (63,45 g). Sedangkan bobot gabah per rumpun varietas pembanding yaitu IPB 15S, IPB 13S, IPB 9G, Inpari 32, dan Inpari IR Nutri Zinc masing-masing sebesar 59,84 g, 52,96 g, 60,55 g, 48,08 g dan 35,33 g. | |
| dc.description.abstract | Rice is the main food crop in Indonesia, with demand continuing to increase in line with population growth. The development of superior varieties, particularly New Plant Type (NPT) rice, is one of the strategies to improve rice productivity. This study aimed to evaluate the agronomic performance of 80 F4 lowland rice lines based on the New Plant Type (NPT) criteria and to identify at least one line with superior agronomic traits and higher yield potential than the check varieties. The experiment was conducted at the IPB Sawah Baru Experimental Field, Babakan Village, Dramaga District, Bogor Regency, West Java, from January to May 2026. The study employed an augmented randomized complete block design (RCBD) with a single factor, namely rice genotype. The experiment involved 80 rice lines and 5 check varieties with four replications. Data were analyzed using analysis of variance (ANOVA) followed by Dunnett’s t-test. The results showed significant variation in the performance of almost all observed traits. There were 17 promising lines that exhibited superior agronomic performance and produced higher grain weight per hill than the check varieties namely yaitu IPB238-D-1 (76,53 g), IPB238-D-8 (79,90 g), IPB238-D-12 (73,40 g), IPB238-D-18 (77,87 g), IPB238-D-22 (77,99 g), IPB238-D-31 (73,67 g), IPB238-D-32 (72,60 g), IPB238-D-37 (70,60 g), IPB238-D-47 (84,12 g), IPB238-D-49 (73,01 g), IPB238-D-54 (82,12 g), IPB240-D-68 (64,91 g), IPB240-D-72 (69,91g), IPB240-D-73 (68,05 g), IPB240-D-74 (62,05 g), IPB240-D-77 (64,25 g) and IPB240-D-79 (63,45 g). The grain weight per hill of the check varieties, namely IPB 15S, IPB 13S, IPB 9G, Inpari 32, and Inpari IR Nutri Zinc, was 59,84 g, 52,96 g, 60,55 g, 48,08 g, and 35,33 g. | |
