      Abstract
      Kondisi perekonomian yang tidak stabil menyebabkan fluktuasi harga saham meningkat dan menambah risiko kerugian bagi investor. Oleh karena itu, strategi lindung nilai (hedging) diperlukan untuk mengurangi risiko investasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan membandingkan efektivitas strategi opsi Eropa Long Call Condor dan Long Iron Butterfly dalam mengelola risiko harga saham BBCA, ANTM, dan ICBP. Harga opsi ditentukan menggunakan model Black–Scholes, sedangkan analisis dilakukan melalui perhitungan payoff dan simulasi Monte Carlo. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Long Call Condor memberikan persentase profit yang lebih tinggi serta keseimbangan yang lebih baik antara keuntungan dan risiko. Sebaliknya, Long Iron Butterfly menawarkan potensi profit maksimum yang lebih tinggi, tetapi disertai risiko kerugian yang lebih besar. Simulasi Monte Carlo juga menunjukkan bahwa volatilitas saham memengaruhi sebaran harga yang dihasilkan, di mana volatilitas yang ebih tinggi menghasilkan rentang harga simulasi yang lebih luas dan tingkat ketidakpastian yang lebih besar. Dengan demikian, kedua strategi cenderung lebih optimal diterapkan pada kondisi volatilitas moderat.
       
      Economic instability in Indonesia has increased stock price fluctuations and investment risk. Therefore, hedging strategies are needed to reduce potential losses. This study compares the effectiveness of two European option strategies, Long Call Condor and Long Iron Butterfly, in managing the stock price risk of BBCA, ANTM, and ICBP. Option prices are determined using the Black–Scholes model, while strategy performance is evaluated through payoff analysis and Monte Carlo simulation. The results show that Long Call Condor provides a higher profit percentage and a better balance between return and risk. In contrast, Long Iron Butterfly offers higher maximum profit potential but involves greater downside risk. The simulation also indicates that stock volatility affects the distribution of simulated prices, with higher volatility producing wider price ranges and greater uncertainty. These findings suggest that both strategies are more effective under moderate volatility conditions and can serve as alternative hedging instruments for investors.
