| dc.description.abstract | Kenanga merupakan tanaman penghasil minyak atsiri yang bernilai ekonomi
tinggi. Peningkatan produksi kenanga dapat dilakukan dengan melakukan
pemupukan pupuk kandang sapi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui
efektivitas dosis pupuk kandang sapi terhadap pertumbuhan, produksi bunga, dan
hasil minyak atsiri pada dua aksesi kenanga. Penelitian dilaksanakan di Kebun
Percobaan Cikabayan IPB pada September 2025 hingga Maret 2026 menggunakan
Rancangan Kelompok Lengkap Teracak (RKLT) Split Plot. Petak utama adalah
aksesi (Kediri dan Cipanas), sedangkan anak petak adalah dosis pupuk kandang
sapi (0, 0,5, 1, 1,5, dan 2 kg per tanaman). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa
faktor genetik (aksesi) lebih dominan dalam mempengaruhi keragaan tanaman
dibandingkan pemupukan. Aksesi Cipanas secara konsisten menunjukkan
pertumbuhan vegetatif yang lebih serta produksi bunga yang lebih tinggi
dibandingkan aksesi Kediri. Interaksi antara aksesi dan pupuk kandang
memberikan pengaruh nyata pada jumlah dan bobot bunga di bulan Desember,
dengan dosis 2 kg per tanaman memberikan hasil tertinggi pada aksesi Cipanas.
Kandungan senyawa utama pada minyak atsiri aksesi Kediri yaitu caryophyllene
sebesar 15-17% dan aksesi Cipanas yaitu linalool sebesar 20-23,5%. Nilai
Efektivitas Agronomi Relatif (EAR) tertinggi dicapai pada dosis 2 kg per tanaman. | |
| dc.description.abstract | Kenanga (Cananga) is an essential oil-producing plant of high economic
value. One way to increase cananga production is by applying cow manure. This
study aimed to determine the effect of cow manure dosage on the growth, flower
production, and essential oil yield of two kenanga accessions. The research was
conducted at the Cikabayan Experimental Station, IPB University, from September
2025 to March 2026, using a split-plot design. The main plots consisted of
accessions (Kediri and Cipanas), while the subplots consisted of cow manure
dosages (0, 0.5, 1, 1.5, and 2 kg per plant). The results showed that genetic factors,
represented by accession, had a greater influence on plant performance than
fertilization. The Cipanas accession consistently showed better vegetative growth
and higher flower production than the Kediri accession. The interaction between
accession and cow manure significantly affected flower number and weight in
December, with a dosage of 2 kg per plant yielding the highest yield in the Cipanas
accession. The main compound content in the essential oil of the Kediri accession
is caryophyllene (15-17%), and in the Cipanas accession, it is linalool (20-23,5%).
The highest Relative Agronomic Effectiveness (RAE) value was obtained at a
dosage of 2 kg per plant. | |
