| dc.description.abstract | Synthetic dye pollution from textile industry wastewater causes adverse environmental impacts, necessitating effective treatment methods such as photodegradation. This study aimed to synthesize a natural zeolite-supported TiO2/ZnO/CuO composite and to determine the optimum composition for the photodegradation of rhodamine B. The composite was synthesized by coprecipitation and impregnation methods using composition ratios of 0:100, 50:50, 65:35, 75:25, and 100:0. X-ray diffraction (XRD) analysis confirmed the presence of TiO2, ZnO, and CuO phases and indicated the possible formation of Zn2TiO4. The 75:25 composition exhibited the highest degradation efficiency (63.253%), and followed first-order kinetic behavior. ANOVA analysis showed that the catalyst composition and irradiation conditions significantly affected the degradation of rhodamine B. These results demonstrate that the composite effectively enhances photocatalytic activity and has strong potential for textile wastewater treatment applications. | |
