      Abstract
Transisi ekonomi hijau mendorong penciptaan green jobs, tetapi masih menghadapi kesenjangan kapasitas ekonomi antarwilayah.

The transition toward a green economy promotes the creation of green jobs, yet it continues to face disparities in regional economic capacity. This study aims to analyze the distribution, specialization, spatial disparity, and sosio-economic determinants of green jobs across provinces in Indonesia using the Williamson Index, Theil Index, Location Quotient (LQ), and panel data regression. The results show that the national share of green jobs remains relatively low and is concentrated in Java. Interprovincial disparities are classified as low, while green job specialization is more prominent outside Java. The regression results indicate that bank credit has a positive and significant effect on green jobs, whereas regional gross domestic product and fiscal capacity have negative and significant effects, suggesting that Indonesia remains in the early stage of the Environmental Kuznets Curve (EKC). In contrast, mean years of schooling and the female human development index do not significantly affect green jobs. These findings highlight the importance of strengthening green finance, enhancing green skills, and promoting low-carbon investment to support an inclusive labor market transition.
