| dc.description.abstract | Biji Kluwek/BK (Pangium edule Reinw) mengandung berbagai fitokimia
yang berpotensi sebagai insektisida nabati untuk pengendalian rayap.
Pemanfaatannya penting karena tingginya kerugian akibat serangan rayap di
Indonesia serta risiko penggunaan insektisida sintetis terhadap lingkungan dan
kesehatan manusia. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis profil fitokimia ekstrak
biji kluwek (EBK) serta mengkaji potensi antirayapnya. Serbuk BK dimaserasi
bertingkat dengan n-heksana (N), etil asetat (EA), metanol (M), dan akuades (A)
(nisbah serbuk: pelarut 1:3) selama 48 jam. Hasil analisis menggunakan Liquid
Chromatography-Tanmdem Mass Spectometry menunjukkan bahwa profil
fitokimia dipengaruhi oleh jenis pelarut. EBK-N didominasi oleh lipid (76,32%),
EBK-EA didominasi oleh lipid (47,92%), ester (19,93%), dan asam karboksilat
(13,70%), EBK-M didominasi oleh karbohidrat (40,26%), dan EBK-A didominasi
oleh asam karboksilat (47,34%). Jumlah senyawa yang terdeteksi berturut-turut
sebanyak 41, 44, 40, dan 46. Studi literatur mengidentifikasi lima senyawa yang
berpotensi antirayap, yaitu oleic acid, propoxur, withaferine, citric acid, dan
curcumin. Aktivitas antibakteri, antijamur, dan antimikroba turut mendukung
potensi ekstrak biji kluwek sebagai bahan antirayap. | |
| dc.description.abstract | Kluwek seeds/BK (Pangium edule Reinw) contain phytochemicals with
potential as botanical insecticides for termite control, offering a safer alternative to
synthetic insecticides that pose environmental and health risks. This study analyzed
the phytochemical profile of kluwek seed extract (EBK) and its antitermite potential.
BK powder was sequentially macerated with n-hexane (N), ethyl acetate (EA),
methanol (M), and distilled water (A) (1:3 powder-to-solvent ratio) for 48 h. Liquid
Chromatography–Tandem Mass Spectrometry analysis revealed solvent-dependent
phytochemical profiles. EBK-N was dominated by lipids (76.32%), EBK-EA by
lipids (47.92%), esters (19.93%), and carboxylic acids (13.70%), EBK-M by
carbohydrates (40.26%), and EBK-A by carboxylic acids (47.34%). A total of 41,
44, 40, and 46 compounds were detected, respectively. Literature review identified
five compounds with potential antitermite activity: oleic acid, propoxur, withaferine,
citric acid, and curcumin. Antibacterial, antifungal, and antimicrobial activities
further support the potential of kluwek seed extract as an antitermite agent. | |
