Peningkatan Kinerja Mesin Press dengan Perhitungan Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) di PT XYZ
Abstract
ALDIANSYAH PUTRA. Peningkatan Kinerja Mesin press dengan perhitungan
Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) di PT XYZ. Dibimbing oleh ANTONYA
RUMONDANG SINAGA.
Mesin press di PT XYZ mengalami penurunan efektivitas dan kegagalan
target produksi akibat tingginya angka downtime. Penelitian ini bertujuan
mengukur efektivitas mesin menggunakan metode Overall Equipment
Effectiveness (OEE), mengidentifikasi faktor penyebabnya, serta merumuskan
usulan perbaikan berbasis Total Productive Maintenance (TPM). Data
dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan catatan produksi. Selanjutnya,
analisis dilakukan melalui perhitungan nilai OEE (availability, performance,
disusun usulan perbaikan berupa penerapan One Point Lesson (OPL), peningkatan
autonomous maintenance, pelatihan operator, serta penguatan budaya 5S dan pilar
TPM. Usulan ini diharapkan mampu meminimalkan downtime dan meningkatkan
produktivitas mesin secara berkelanjutan. ALDIANSYAH PUTRA. Improving Press Machine Performance through the
Calculation of Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) at PT XYZ. Supervised by
ANTONYA RUMONDANG SINAGA.
The press machines at PT XYZ have experienced reduced effectiveness and
a failure to meet production targets due to high levels of downtime. This study aims
to measure machine effectiveness using the Overall Equipment Effectiveness
(OEE) method, identify contributing factors, and formulate improvement proposals
based on Total Productive Maintenance (TPM). Data were collected through
observations, interviews, and production records. Subsequently, analysis was
conducted by calculating OEE values (availability, performance, and quality) and
identifying losses using the "Six Big Losses" framework, Pareto charts, fishbone
diagrams, and "Why-Why" analysis. The results indicate that downtime is the
primary factor behind the low machine effectiveness, influenced by aspects related
to machinery, work methods, materials, and operators. Proposed solutions include
implementing One Point Lesson (OPL) programs, enhancing autonomous
maintenance, conducting operator training, and strengthening the 5S culture and
TPM pillars. These proposals are expected to minimize downtime and sustainably
improve machine productivity.
