      Pemodelan Distribusi Total Suspended Solid (TSS) pada Musim Peralihan di Muara Sungai Sesayap, Kalimantan Utara

      Abstract
      Muara Sungai Sesayap merupakan bagian hilir Sungai Sesayap yang menerima pengaruh aktivitas antropogenik signifikan, sehingga hal tersebut dapat memengaruhi lingkungan dan keberlangsungan biota di dalamnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis pola sebaran hidrodinamika arus dan pola pasang surut serta pola distribusi Total Suspended Solid (TSS) menggunakan model MOHID di perairan Sungai Sesayap, Kalimantan Utara pada musim peralihan serta memvalidasinya dengan metode RMSE, Koefisien Korelasi, dan Standar Deviasi. Model hidrodinamika dan transpor sedimen dibangun menggunakan data input, data validasi, dan data pendukung dari berbagai sumber. Validasi model dilakukan terhadap dua parameter, yaitu pasang surut dan arus. Hasil validasi menunjukkan bahwa komponen pasang surut dikategorikan Sangat Baik, sedangkan pada komponen arus dikategorikan Memuaskan. Model hidrodinamika menunjukkan bahwa kecepatan arus maksimal terjadi saat kondisi surut terendah dan pasang tertinggi dengan nilai dominan pada 0,61-1,22 m/s. Tipe pasang surut hasil model menunjukkan tipe Campuran Condong Harian Ganda. Model distribusi TSS menunjukkan sebaran terjauh terjadi di kondisi surut terendah, dengan nilai konsentrasi TSS dominan pada 125,4-146,3 mg/L. Distribusi TSS lebih terdorong masuk ke mulut estuari pada kondisi pasang tertinggi dengan nilai konsentrasi TSS dominan pada 146,3-167,2 mg/L. Penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa model yang dibangun dapat menggambarkan kondisi hidrodinamika dan distribusi TSS, serta hasil model dapat dipertanggungjawabkan dengan uji validasi yang dilakukan.
       
      The Sesayap River Estuary is a downstream part of the Sesayap River that receives the influence of significant anthropogenic activities, so that it can affect the environment and the sustainability of the biota in it. This study aims to analyze the distribution pattern of flow hydrodynamics and tidal patterns as well as the distribution pattern of Total Suspended Solid (TSS) using the MOHID model in the waters of Sungai Sesayap, North Kalimantan in the transition season and validate it by RMSE methods, Correlation Coefficients, and Standard Deviation. Hydrodynamics and sediment transport models were constructed using input data, validation data, and supporting data from various sources. Model validation is carried out on two parameters, namely tidal and current. The validation results showed that the tidal component was categorized as Excellent, while the current component was categorized as Satisfactory. The hydrodynamic model shows that the maximum current velocity occurs during the lowest recede and high tide conditions with a dominant value of 0.61-1.22 m/s. The tidal type of the model results shows the type of Double Daily Inclined Mix. The TSS distribution model shows that the farthest distribution occurs in the lowest recess conditions, with the dominant TSS concentration value at 125.4-146.3 mg/L. The TSS distribution is more pushed into the estuary mouth at the highest tide conditions with the dominant TSS concentration value at 146.3-167.2 mg/L. This study can be concluded that the constructed model can describe the hydrodynamic conditions and TSS distribution, and the results of the model can be accounted for by the validation test carried out.
