      Abstract
This study aims to compare working time between sequential and random delimbing methods and analyze the relationship between walking intensity and working time in the Cepu Forest Management Unit (KPH) in Central Java. The study was conducted using a time study method, using work time measurements, video recording, and pedometer measurements. The results showed that the sequential delimbing method resulted in slightly lower working time than the random method. However, a paired t-test showed no significant difference between the two methods (t-count = 0.554; t-table = 1,761). The relationship between walking intensity and working time showed a positive correlation for both the sequential (r = 0.47) and random (r = 0.82) methods. Furthermore, the sequential method resulted in fewer steps than the random method. The findings of this study indicate that a higher number of footsteps was associated with longer working time.
