dc.description.abstractSinbiotik, kombinasi probiotik dan prebiotik, berpotensi memperbaiki keseimbangan mikroflora usus ayam broiler dan dapat diperoleh dari air kelapa fermentasi Saccharomyces cerevisiae dan Lactobacillus plantarum yang diberikan melalui air minum. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui pengaruhnya terhadap komponen non karkas broiler jantan dan betina menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap dengan lima perlakuan (P0: kontrol; P1: pasteurisasi; P2: fermentasi L. plantarum; P3: fermentasi S. cerevisiae; P4: kombinasi keduanya) dan empat ulangan, total 40 ekor ayam (8 ekor per perlakuan: 4 jantan dan 4 betina). Peubah meliputi bobot dan persentase non karkas, organ dalam, serta bobot dan panjang saluran pencernaan, dianalisis dengan ANOVA, uji Kruskal-Wallis, dan uji Tukey. Sinbiotik sebagian besar tidak berpengaruh nyata (P>0,05) pada kedua jenis kelamin, kecuali persentase bobot hati jantan (P=0,048) yang lebih rendah pada P4 dibanding kontrol, mengindikasikan berkurangnya beban detoksifikasi. Pada betina, bobot dan persentase jejunum berpengaruh nyata (P<0,05) dengan P4 tertinggi, mencerminkan perkembangan morfologi usus lebih baik. Sinbiotik air kelapa fermentasi aman diberikan, dengan P4 memberikan hasil terbaik.
dc.description.abstractSynbiotics, a combination of probiotics and prebiotics, can improve intestinal microflora balance in broiler chickens and may be sourced from fermented coconut water containing Saccharomyces cerevisiae and Lactobacillus plantarum, administered via drinking water. This study aimed to determine its effect on non-carcass components of male and female broilers using a Completely Randomized Design with five treatments (P0: control; P1: pasteurization; P2: L. plantarum fermentation; P3: S. cerevisiae fermentation; P4: combination of both) and four replications, totaling 40 broilers (8 per treatment: 4 males and 4 females). Variables included non-carcass weight and percentage, internal organs, and digestive tract weight and length, analyzed using ANOVA, the Kruskal-Wallis test, and Tukey's test. Synbiotics had no significant effect (P>0.05) on most variables in either sex, except for male liver weight percentage (P=0.048), which was lower in P4 than the control, indicating reduced detoxification burden. In females, jejunum weight and percentage were significantly affected (P<0.05), with P4 showing the highest values, reflecting better intestinal morphology. Fermented coconut water synbiotics were safe to administer, with P4 producing the best results.
