Pengaruh Air Kelapa Fermentasi Saccharomyces Cerevisiae dan Lactobaccilus Plantarum terhadap Profil Darah dan Digesta Usus Ayam Broiler
Abstract
Pelarangan penggunaan antibiotic growth promoter (AGP) mendorong pengembangan sinbiotik berbasis bahan alami sebagai alternatif pada ayam broiler. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengevaluasi pengaruh air kelapa fermentasi yang mengandung Saccharomyces cerevisiae dan Lactobacillus plantarum terhadap profil darah dan populasi mikroba digesta usus ayam broiler. Sebanyak 200 ekor ayam broiler strain Cobb dipelihara selama 35 hari menggunakan rancangan acak lengkap dengan lima perlakuan dan empat ulangan. Perlakuan terdiri atas air minum murni, air kelapa segar, air kelapa fermentasi L. plantarum, air kelapa fermentasi S. cerevisiae, dan kombinasi keduanya. Parameter yang diamati meliputi profil darah serta populasi bakteri asam laktat, yeast, dan Escherichia coli pada digesta seka. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa seluruh perlakuan tidak berpengaruh nyata (P>0,05) terhadap seluruh parameter yang diamati. Meskipun demikian, nilai parameter masih berada dalam kisaran fisiologis normal. Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa air kelapa fermentasi berpotensi digunakan sebagai sinbiotik alami yang aman bagi ayam broiler. The ban on the use of antibiotic growth promoters (AGPs) has encouraged the development of natural synbiotics as alternative feed additives in broiler production. This study aimed to evaluate the effects of fermented coconut water containing Saccharomyces cerevisiae and Lactobacillus plantarum on blood profile and intestinal digesta microbiota of broiler chickens. A total of 200 Cobb broilers were reared for 35 days in a completely randomized design consisting of five treatments and four replicates. The treatments included drinking water, fresh coconut water, coconut water fermented with L. plantarum, coconut water fermented with S. cerevisiae, and a combination of both microorganisms. Parameters observed were blood profile, including erythrocytes, leukocytes, hemoglobin, hematocrit, and differential leukocyte counts, as well as populations of lactic acid bacteria, yeast, and Escherichia coli in cecal digesta. The results showed that all treatments had no significant effect (P>0.05) on blood profile or intestinal microbial populations. However, all measured values remained within normal physiological ranges. These findings indicate that fermented coconut water has potential as a safe natural synbiotic for broiler chickens.
