      Analisis Genomik dan Lokus Gen Penyandi Biosintesis Polisakarida Kapsul Streptococcus pneumoniae Serotipe 11A

      Abstract
      Streptococcus pneumoniae merupakan patogen utama penyebab penyakit invasif seperti pneumonia, bakteremia, dan meningitis. Implementasi Pneumococcal Conjugate Vaccine (PCV) menurunkan serotipe vaksinal, namun memicu peningkatan serotipe non-vaksin seperti 11A. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengkarakterisasi capsular polysaccharide synthesis locus (cps) serta menganalisis variasi genetik pada serotipe 11A. Sebanyak 30 isolat dianalisis, dengan 24 isolat memenuhi kriteria analisis genom. Hasil menunjukkan dominasi Sequence Type ST6191 yang membentuk satu klaster utama. Visualisasi cps cluster menunjukkan struktur gen yang relatif seragam dengan variasi minor, sedangkan analisis kesamaan gen menunjukkan tingkat identitas tinggi (93-100%). Selain itu, ditemukan resistensi terhadap trimethoprim, sulfamethoxazole, dan co-trimoxazole serta penisilin pada beberapa isolat. Secara keseluruhan, cps locus serotipe 11A memiliki tingkat kesamaan genetik tinggi dengan variasi terbatas dan didominasi oleh satu klon utama.
