dc.description.abstractPenelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis perbandingan pertumbuhan tanaman pakcoy pada sistem hidroponik NFT dan sistem hidroponik wick galon sebagai upaya pengembangan usaha di AER Farm Hidroponik Sukabumi yang didukung oleh kelayakan finansial dan potensi penambahan kapasitas produksi. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah eksperimen dengan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) menggunakan 40 tanaman pada setiap perlakuan. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi dan pengukuran langsung, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan uji normalitas, uji homogenitas, Independent Sample t-Test, serta analisis anggaran parsial dan R/C Rasio. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sistem hidroponik wick galon menghasilkan tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun, dan bobot tanaman yang secara signifikan lebih tinggi (p<0,05) dibandingkan sistem NFT. Secara finansial, sistem wick galon memberikan tambahan keuntungan bersih sebesar Rp29.849 per siklus melalui analisis anggaran parsial. Simulasi scale up menjadi 96 galon diproyeksikan mampu menghasilkan tambahan produksi sekitar 44 kg pakcoy per siklus dengan R/C Rasio sebesar 2,16.
dc.description.abstractThis study aimed to analyze the comparison of pakcoy growth between the NFT hydroponic system and the gallon wick hydroponic system as a business development effort at AER Farm Hidroponik Sukabumi, supported by financial feasibility and the potential for increased production capacity. This research employed an experimental method with a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) using 40 plants per treatment. Data were collected through direct observation and measurement, then analyzed using normality tests, homogeneity tests, an Independent Sample t-Test, and partial budget and R/C Ratio analyses. The results showed that the gallon wick hydroponic system produced significantly higher plant height, leaf count, and plant weight (p<0,05) compared to the NFT system. Financially, the gallon wick system generated an additional net benefit of IDR 29.849 per cycle based on partial budget analysis. A scale-up simulation to 96 gallons was projected to yield an additional production of approximately 44 kg of pakcoy per cycle with an R/C Ratio of 2,16.
