dc.description.abstractTingginya angka kematian kategori In-House Loss (IHL) dan kerusakan cangkang siput nerite (Neritina sp.) di PT Qian Hu Joe Aquatic Indonesia (QHJAI) menjadi pembatas optimalisasi pendapatan ekspor. Penelitian eksperimental ini menggunakan desain dua perlakuan, yaitu tanpa kalsium tulang sotong (K0) dan dengan kalsium tulang sotong (K1) dengan tiga ulangan. Data dianalisis menggunakan Independent Sample T-test serta analisis kelayakan finansial R/C ratio. Hasil pengamatan menunjukkan perlakuan K1 berhasil menekan tingkat mortalitas sebesar 16%, kerusakan cangkang 24%, serta meningkatkan hasil layak ekspor sebesar 25%. Uji statistik membuktikan bahwa suplementasi tulang sotong berpengaruh nyata terhadap penurunan kerusakan cangkang dan peningkatan kelayakan ekspor, meskipun tidak berpengaruh nyata pada mortalitas. Secara finansial, metode K1 mampu menekan biaya produksi per unit sebesar Rp2.161, meningkatkan laba bersih setelah pajak sebesar Rp102.350.430, serta meningkatkan nilai R/C ratio sebesar 1,05.
dc.description.abstractThe high mortality rate in the In-House Loss (IHL) category and shell damage in Nerite snails (Neritina sp.) at PT Qian Hu Joe Aquatic Indonesia (QHJAI) limited the optimization of export revenue. This experimental study used a two-treatment design, namely without cuttlefish bone calcium (K0) and with cuttlefish bone calcium (K1), each with three replications. Data were analyzed using the Independent Sample T-test and the R/C ratio financial feasibility analysis. The results showed that treatment K1 reduced the mortality rate by 16%, reduced shell damage by 24%, and increased export-grade yield by 25%. Statistical tests proved that cuttlefish bone supplementation had a significant effect on reducing shell damage and increasing export eligibility, although it had no significant effect on mortality. Financially, the K1 method reduced production cost per unit by Rp2.161, increased net profit after tax by Rp102.350.430, and increased the R/C ratio by 1,05.
