      Analisis Efektivitas Fine Bubble Technology terhadap Water Footprint dan Water Productivity pada Budidaya Padi

      Abstract
      Budidaya padi sawah membutuhkan air dalam jumlah besar sehingga diperlukan teknologi irigasi yang lebih efisien. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis penggunaan air, water footprint, dan water productivity pada budidaya padi dengan dan tanpa penerapan Fine Bubble Technology (FBT). Penelitian dilakukan pada Februari hingga Juni 2026 di Kinjiro Farm, Kota Bogor, dengan empat perlakuan, yaitu FBT pada irigasi bawah permukaan (FBT-IBP), FBT pada irigasi permukaan (FBT-IP), irigasi bawah permukaan tanpa FBT (Non FBT-IBP), dan irigasi permukaan tanpa FBT (Non FBT-IP). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa total irigasi terendah terdapat pada Non FBT-IBP sebesar 147,6 mm, sedangkan tertinggi terdapat pada Non FBT-IP sebesar 364,9 mm. Nilai water footprint terendah diperoleh pada Non FBT-IBP sebesar 801 m3/ton dan tertinggi pada FBT-IBP sebesar 1.293 m3/ton. Pada sistem irigasi permukaan, penerapan FBT mampu menurunkan water footprint dari 1.158 m3/ton menjadi 894 m3/ton atau sebesar 22,8%. Perlakuan FBT-IP juga menghasilkan water productivity terhadap total air masuk tertinggi sebesar 0,51 kg/m3, atau 30,8% lebih tinggi dibandingkan Non FBT-IP. Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa penerapan FBT pada irigasi permukaan berpotensi menekan water footprint dan meningkatkan water productivity pada budidaya padi sawah.
       
      Paddy rice cultivation requires efficient irrigation due to its high water demand. This study analyzed water use, water footprint, and water productivity under four treatments: FBT with subsurface irrigation (FBT-IBP), FBT with surface irrigation (FBT-IP), and both irrigation systems without FBT. The study was conducted from February to June 2026 at Kinjiro Farm, Bogor City. The lowest irrigation use was recorded in Non FBT-IBP at 147.6 mm, while the highest was found in Non FBT-IP at 364.9 mm. The lowest water footprint was obtained in Non FBT-IBP at 801 m3/ton, while the highest was found in FBT-IBP at 1,293 m3/ton. Under surface irrigation, FBT reduced the water footprint from 1,158 to 894 m3/ton, or by 22.8%. FBT-IP also produced the highest water productivity based on total water input at 0.51 kg/m3, which was 30.8% higher than Non FBT-IP. These results indicate that FBT is more effective when applied to surface irrigation.
