      Abstract
      Kebutuhan air bersih yang terus meningkat di lingkungan asrama mahasiswa memerlukan solusi penyediaan air yang berkelanjutan. Salah satu alternatif yang dapat diterapkan adalah sistem pemanenan air hujan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang sistem pemanenan air hujan sebagai sumber air alternatif di Asrama C4 SylvaEdu 1, IPB University. Metode yang digunakan meliputi analisis curah hujan selama 20 tahun (2006–2025), perhitungan hujan rencana menggunakan distribusi Log Pearson III, analisis intensitas hujan dengan metode Mononobe, serta simulasi neraca air untuk menentukan kapasitas tangki menggunakan metode Rippl. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa potensi volume air hujan yang dapat dipanen mencapai 1.275.886,46 liter per tahun, Kapasitas tangki optimum yang diperoleh adalah 348,81 m³ dan direncanakan sebesar 360 m³. Total biaya pembangunan sistem sebesar Rp 505.119.963,30 dengan estimasi biaya operasional dan investasi tahunan sebesar Rp 26.627.471.
       
      The increasing demand for clean water in student dormitories requires sustainable water supply solutions. One alternative that can be implemented is a rainwater harvesting system. This study aimed to design a rainwater harvesting system as an alternative water source for the C4 SylvaEdu 1 Dormitory at IPB University. The research methods included the analysis of 20 years of rainfall data (2006–2025), estimation of design rainfall using the Log Pearson Type III distribution, rainfall intensity analysis using the Mononobe method, and water balance simulation to determine the optimum storage tank capacity using the Rippl method. The results showed that the potential volume of harvested rainwater reached 1,275,886.46 liters per year. The optimum storage tank capacity obtained was 348,81 m³ and was rounded up to a planned capacity of 360 m³. The total construction cost of the system was estimated at IDR 505,119,963.30 , while the annual operational and investment cost was estimated at IDR 26,627,471.
