dc.description.abstractTeluk Banten merupakan wilayah perairan dengan aktivitas pelayaran yang tinggi sehingga diperlukan informasi mengenai keberadaan target dasar perairan yang berpotensi mengganggu keselamatan navigasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeteksi shipwreck, pipa, dan target lainnya menggunakan Side Scan Sonar (SSS), serta menganalisis nilai hamburbalik yang dihasilkan. Data penelitian menggunakan SSS C-Max CM2 frekuensi 325 kHz, kemudian diproses melalui koreksi geometrik dan radiometrik menggunakan SonarWiz 7. Ekstraksi nilai amplitudo dilakukan menggunakan SeiSee 2.2, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan Microsoft Excel dan MATLAB untuk memperoleh nilai hamburbalik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Target 1 dan 2 yang diinterpretasikan sebagai shipwreck memiliki nilai hamburbalik sebesar -4,02 dB dan -3,10 dB dengan amplitudo maksimum 32.767 mV. Target 3 yang diinterpretasikan sebagai pipa memiliki nilai hamburbalik sebesar -3,34 dB dengan amplitudo 29.652 mV, sedangkan Target 4 berupa batuan memiliki nilai hamburbalik sebesar -6,69 dB dengan amplitudo 22.531 mV. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa teknologi SSS efektif digunakan untuk identifikasi target dasar perairan di Teluk Banten.
dc.description.abstractBanten Bay is a waterway with high shipping traffic, making it necessary to obtain information on the presence of underwater objects that could potentially compromise navigational safety. This study aimed to detect shipwrecks, pipelines, and other objects using Side Scan Sonar (SSS), as well as to analyze the resulting backscatter values. The research data were collected using a C-Max CM2 SSS operating at 325 kHz and were processed through geometric and radiometric corrections using SonarWiz 7. Amplitude values were extracted using SeiSee 2.2, then analyzed using Microsoft Excel and MATLAB to obtain backscatter values. The results of the study indicated that Targets 1 and 2, interpreted as shipwrecks, had backscatter values of -4.02 dB and -3.10 dB with a maximum amplitude of 32,767 mV. Target 3, interpreted as a pipe, had a backscatter value of -3.34 dB with an amplitude of 29,652 mV, while Target 4, consisting of rock, has a backscatter value of -6.69 dB with an amplitude of 22,531 mV. Ultimately, the study demonstrated that SSS technology is effective for identifying seabed objects in Banten Bay.
