dc.description.abstractNANDA IBRANI. Redesain Tata Letak Ruang Changes Part dengan Metode CORELAP Berbasis Klasifikasi FSN di PT X. Dibimbing oleh YANDRA ARKEMAN. Ruang Changes Part di PT X memiliki tata letak yang belum optimal sehingga menyebabkan proses pencarian dan perpindahan part kurang efisien. Penelitian ini bertujuan merancang ulang tata letak menggunakan metode CORELAP berbasis klasifikasi FSN untuk meningkatkan efisiensi perpindahan material dan menurunkan biaya material handling. Metode yang digunakan meliputi Activity Relationship Chart (ARC), Total Closeness Rating (TCR), klasifikasi FSN berdasarkan Turnover Ratio (TOR), perhitungan rectilinear distance, weighted distance, dan Ongkos Material Handling (OMH). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tata letak usulan mampu menurunkan total weighted distance dari 488,08 meter menjadi 480,64 meter atau meningkat sebesar 1,52%. Selain itu, biaya material handling menurun dari Rp215.537 per hari menjadi Rp206.237 per hari atau terjadi penghematan sebesar 4,31%. Tata letak usulan juga menghasilkan aliran material yang lebih efektif serta penempatan part yang lebih teratur berdasarkan frekuensi penggunaannya. Kata kunci: CORELAP, FSN, OMH, layout, rectilinear
dc.description.abstractNANDA IBRANI. Redesign of Changes Part Room Layout Using the CORELAP Method Based on FSN Classification at PT X. Supervised by YANDRA ARKEMAN. The Changes Part room at PT X has an inefficient layout that affects part searching and material movement activities. This study aims to redesign the layout using the CORELAP method based on FSN classification to improve material handling efficiency and reduce material handling costs. The methods used include Activity Relationship Chart (ARC), Total Closeness Rating (TCR), FSN classification based on Turnover Ratio (TOR), rectilinear distance, weighted distance, and Material Handling Cost (OMH) analysis. The results show that the proposed layout reduced the total weighted distance from 488.08 to 480.64 or improved efficiency by 1.52%. In addition, material handling costs decreased from Rp215,537 per day to Rp206,237 per day, resulting in cost savings of 4.31%. The proposed layout also creates a more effective material flow and more organized part placement based on usage frequency. Keywords: CORELAP, FSN, OMH, layout, rectilinear
